HIGH POINT, N.C. - The FBI arrested an accused killer in High Point. Rodolfo Corrales, according to agents, is wanted in connection with two murders in Los Angeles nearly 15 years ago.

Corrales is being held without bond in the Guilford County Jail in High Point.

The Los Angeles district attorney's office confirmed Corrales is a known gang member and the two murder victims are believed to be rival gang members.

The FBI said they got a tip a month ago Corrales was living in North Carolina. Agents arrested him Wednesday morning at a house on Montlieu Avenue, two blocks from the High Point University campus.

Police will not say how long Corrales has been living in the area.

Next door neighbor Brittany Walker was shocked to hear the news.

"It's just real scary to find out somebody next to you has killed or might have killed," said Walker.

Neighbors said they didn't know Corrales by name, but said he kept mostly to himself.

The Los Angeles police dept's gang unit is handling the investigation. Corrales' extradition hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning in High Point.
