And I agree with that.
But if no one is home and a burglar breaks in and steals the gun another criminal now has a gun. It doesn't matter if he is 13 or 30. Another criminal is now armed and some innocent person will probably be the one who gets shot.

Actually I find more guns get stolen from cars than homes in South Florida. There are too many careless people who leave them in their cars.

My brother had a 357 stolen from his pick up truck when it was broken into near West Palm Beach many years ago.
