Amazing: Landrieu Completely Throws Obama Under the Bus in First TV Ad

I’m confused. Last week Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) said if she could vote for Obamacare again, she would. Now for some reason she’s completely distancing herself from it?

If you are to believe this ad, President Obama lied to her constituents. Not her (via Politico)

But there’s just one problem here: in 2009 Landrieu herself said if Americans liked their health care plans, they could keep them. Oops:



The ad spot above is deceptive and misleading. It puts all the blame on the president, when in truth she built support for -- and ultimately helped pass -- Obamacare. At the same time the ad paints her as a hapless bystander who (ahem) had no idea millions of Americans would lose their health care coverage. And now, of course, the good public servant that she is, she's working hard to “fix” a “glitch” she never saw coming.

I'm skeptical. From Guy’s piece last October:

In September 2010, all Senate Democrats, including Landrieu, voted to reject a plan Republicans said would have killed Obama administration regulations that now have resulted in the cancellation of insurance policies.

Her ad implies she didn’t know this would happen -- which is exceedingly difficult to believe given what you just read. Republicans were ringing the warning bells for years. Democrats ignored them.

Now she’s in deep political trouble, so what does she do? She runs ads foisting all the blame on the president of the United States.
I wonder how he feels about this.

Louisiana Senator Landrieu Desperate: First Campaign Ad Blames Obama, She Not Responsible For Supporting ObamaCare

As campaign season gets closer and closer we will see more of this blatant lying and trying to change the facts from candidates. One of the Democratic Senators that is considered to be very vulnerable is Mary Landrieu, from the great state of Louisiana. It is probably because she is feeling so desperate that her first campaign ad has been delivered already!
I think you will like this. Please visit this page to watch not only here new ad, but some clips of Miss Mary from back in 2009 as she was building up support for ObamaCare. Of course, now she wants nothing to do with ObamaCare and is not only backing away from this (as well as support for the president himself), she is running away…and as fast as she can!
Personally, I find this quite interesting. But I also do not think that we should let her get away with this. That is why every chance we can, it is important to show the cowardice of these candidates. Ideally, finding videos of how much they “love” and “support” the ObamaCare act from back in 2009 and 2010, the days before it was actually passed and we were able to actually see “what was in it” (right, Nancy?).
The level of hubris that Miss Landrieu has is also quite high. For example, just last week she even said publicly that if she could vote for ObamaCare again, she would! Of course, now that it is time for her to get to work and actually campaign, she is singing a different tune. Completely distancing herself from her stance on ObamaCare. According to her newly released ad, it was President Obama who lied to her constituents. Not her fault at all. And, of course, she bears no responsibility for all of this. Certainly, our wonderful doormat Mary was just as gullible as anyone else in the Senate and completely flabbergasted when she discovered that Obama had—gasp—lied to the American public and people of the great state of Louisiana.

Of course, the problem with her claim that it was simply the community organizer in chief who lied to the public (my phrase) is the fact that she herself said the same thing! The second video on the page linked to above actually shows Mary repeating the Obama promise about how people would be able to keep their healthcare plans. So, not only is her ad deceptive and misleading, it is ultimately designed to prey upon people who do not remember the facts. She herself worked hard to build up support for ObamaCare. She did not simply sit on the sidelines, but rather took an active role in getting this law pushed through Congress.
Now we are all to believe that little Miss Mary had ‘no idea’ about the millions of people who were going to lose coverage under ObamaCare. She was just a hapless bystander who was tricked by the sharp snake oil selling president, just like her constituents. But, we should never fear. Since Mary is such an incredible public servant she is hard at work to fix this ‘glitch’ that we never saw coming.
Another problem is that she actually voted against a plan back in 2010 that would have killed many of the ObamaCare regulations which resulted in these healthcare plan cancellations. Not only that, but many of the Republicans saw this coming from a mile away and have been warning the public about these exact possibilities. So, maybe Mary is just not as smart as some of the other politicians, since she was bamboozled just like ‘everyone’ else? Yes, and maybe it is time for a new Senator from Louisiana?
What do YOU think? How about Landrieu throwing Obama under the bus? How about trying to avoid taking responsibility when she actually was one of the driving forces behind getting this law passed? Does Landrieu deserve another term, or is she something other than what she claims to be?

She has had three years - and continued to parrot the party line. She never read the bill and voted for it, it is negligence and she should be fired.
