Larger reward in slain nanny case
Larger reward in slain nanny case
The parents of a slain nanny are offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a 33-year-old Wheeling man who allegedly murdered her because she tried to break off their relationship. George and Suzuko Wiedemann announced they were increasing their original $25,000 reward by $75,000 on Thursday, the fifth anniversary of Jennifer Wiedemann's death. They also launched www.justiceforjennifer.com, hoping to make it easier for authorities to catch suspect Adolfo Sanchez, who is now believed to be in Mexico. "The anniversaries are always the hardest," George Wiedemann, a Mount Prospect janitor, said. Sanchez has been the subject of an international manhunt since he was charged with killing his 20-year-old former fiancee in 2001.
