The Clinton adminstration is @ fault for the housing crisis. By allowing any and everybody to have home morgages. Yes, many illegal Aliens recieved Home loans too. Now, these people defaulted on their loans and the U.S. tax payers are now bailing out these companies. Why?

I posted this on a college hoops board earlier today...
As an investor I am finding all of this very tough to stomach and to hold my ground, but I am. It may cost me dearly, but if it does, then everything and everyone will be in pretty bad shape living in a country you don't recognize.
I'm definitely not a big fan of these bailouts especially since the CEO's and Board members are benefiting from this lack of sound management. At least that is my opinion.
My concerns are of a little larger scope. As I read the financial message boards all I see is bickering between the left and right, the Democrats and the Republicans, and the Liberals and the Conservatives. Nothing will be solved if this is how the U.S. public thinks now. It is becoming a blame game and everyone that participates in it is just as much at fault. I would think that regardless of a political persuasion that you want what is best for this country. Most people do not even know what the job of the President is or the role of Congress. We are being failed as a people and seem to be too dumb as a population to do anything about it. Ron Paul would talk about these things and the mainstream would label him as a radical. (I am not writing this as a Ron Paul supporter.) What chances do we have if those who really want chang are labeled as radicals? I'm not on the doom and gloom side of things, but one really has to think outside of the box instead of the talking points.
This situation is most likely not a surprise to the Treasury or the Federal Reserve Corporation. I bailed on some investments back in 2005 because I saw some of this coming and I am just an amateur investor. None of this should be a surprise. The question I have is 'why'? I dunno know.
I wish us the best and hope this is just a bowel movement that will pass in the next couple of years. Trying to keep the faith.<div>"You know your country is dying when you have to make a distinction between what is moral and ethical, and what is legal." -- John De Armond</div>
