LET THEM EAT LENTILS: Bloomberg News Slammed For Elitist Advice On Surviving The Biden Economy

The economy under Joe Biden is awful and there is no getting around this for Democrats.

The media knows this, and since the media has become nothing more than a public relations arm of the Democrat party, they are always ready to play defense, no matter how condescending it sounds to average people.
Take Bloomberg News, for example. This weekend, they published a piece full of suggestions for making ends meet right now.
It included such suggestions as eating lentils instead of meat. People were not impressed.

Critics slammed a Bloomberg Opinion tweet Saturday that said inflation hurts most people making “less than 300k,” adding that people should take the bus, stop buying in bulk and should “try lentils instead of meat.”
The tweet also read, “nobody said this would be fun.” The March 13 op-ed from Teresa Ghilarducci, headlined, “Inflation Stings Most If You Earn Less Than $300K. Here’s How to Deal,” says that public transportation prices are only up 8% compared to 38% for gasoline.
To avoid inflated meat prices, Ghilarducci suggested pivoting to vegetables.

“Though your palate may not be used to it, tasty meat substitutes include vegetables (where prices are up a little over 4%, or lentils and beans, which are up about 9%). Plan to cut out the middle creature and consume plants directly. It’s a more efficient, healthier and cheaper way to get calories,” the op-ed said.
