Life sentence for killing Tacoma girl
A 43-year-old man who abducted, raped and killed a 12-year-old Tacoma girl is headed to prison for the rest of his life.

The life term, without parole, is the only option for Friday's sentencing in Pierce County Superior Court. Terapon Adhahn (TER'-uh-pon AHD'-hahn) pleaded guilty last month for killing Zina Linnik on the Fourth of July.

The prosecutor agreed not to seek the death penalty in return for his leading police to her body.

The Thai immigrant also pleaded guilty to raping two other girls, ages 11 and 12. One of those girls who was raped by Adhahn nearly eight years ago, Sabrina Rasmussen, planned to speak at the sentencing.

Adhahn is still being investigated in the death of a 10-year-old Lakewood girl, Adre'anna Jackson, who disappeared in 2005 on the way to school.
