    Interesting idea, but why do it on a Saturday when the offices are closed?

    From what I've been reading, this was just a first step in a series of future protests. The goal of these first rallies was to bring awareness to the cause and educate the public. Many activists were handing out pamphlets and dvds in all 32 cities.

    Hopefully after educating and recruiting many new activists this way, they will be growing in numbers so that next time it will be even bigger.

    I don't know who organized these events, but perhaps consideration went into the fact that more people would be available on a Saturday to participate, rather than a week day.
