Local Republicans to roast Sheriff Joe Arpaio

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be in the hot seat when he is publicly roasted at 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Maricopa County Events Center, 19403 R.H. Johnson Blvd., Sun City West. The roast is hosted by the Legislative District 4 Republicans. However, Arpaio will get the last word.

Roasters include Arizona Speaker of the House Jim Weiers, Phoenix Chapter of Minutemen Defense Corp. Chairman Don Goldwater, radio talk-show host Terry Anderson, congressional candidate Sydney Hay and Republican Party Executive Director Sean McCaffrey.

Tickets are $15 for adults and can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at the Maricopa County Events Center, 623-544-2888. Tickets also may be obtained by sending a check made out to Joe Arpaio Roast and mailed to Joe Arpaio Roast, 17210 N. 53rd Drive, Glendale, AZ 85308. Tickets will be mailed upon receipt of a check.

..And watch out for Giuliani (whose law firm is the sole representative of Cintra, the Spanish firm with a 50-year contract on the NAFTA Superhighway in Texas), Fred Thompson (CFR member), Sen. John Cornyn (who introduced a meld-with-Mexico bill until World Net Daily confronted him; it was withdrawn . . .), Sen. Chris Dodd (who inserted a last-minute provision in the failed immigration bill that a border fence must have Mexico's approval), and, of course, Bill Richardson.

And Romney? ..better than ANY democrat, BUT.. he wants to INCREASE legal immigration! What?! of the 1.2 MILLION visas granted ANNUALLY, 1/2 to 2/3 of those are exploited by the greedy business lobby just so a business can say they’ve hired a ‘legal’ alien, NOT to mention paying them MUCH less thus DEPRESSING our wages even further?!
