    Hylander_1314,

    I like your quote from Sam Adams.

    "tools of a tyrant"

    Being an old stick in the mud, a redneck of sorts, I have always liked quotes and anecdotes that I could relate too. Little humorous sayings that are rooted with common sense, that help one to conserve values for his family and that of his community.

    It seems that the corporate media with the help of the left leaning minions have been trying to "pervert" the common sense from those old sayings. Psychlogical warfare of a sort.

    "Beauty is but skin deep." the perverted version could read, "Extreme beauty gathers many who will follow to the depths of hell."

    "If you can't beat them, join them." perverted- "If you can't beat them, infiltrate them, then destroy them."

    "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink." perverted- "You can lead a horse to water but if you can't make him drink, keep him there til he gets thirsty."

    "Keep it simple." perverted- "Keep it simple,....yet complex."

    "Tug at your heartstrings." perverted- "Tug at their heartstrings, then plunge the knife."

    "Bait and switch." perverted- "Bait and switch then bait again."

    Very good ones there roundabout! You have a copy of the communist manifesto around? I think you can relate every one of your "stylized" versions to specific passages in the book. If you don't have and that goes for anyone here, it would be a good idea to get it and comprehend it. It is the key to unlocking the door of what we don't know. It will also help you understand how the leftcoast works.

    As Hamilton said in the Federalist Papers, if all men were angels there would nbe no need for government. And democracy would truely work. But that's not the real world. Men are not angels. At least most of us. Temptation is too great to be trusted in a man's soul. For it is too easy for that soul to be corrupted by worldly things, money and power the worst of them.

    An assualt on the Midwest?

    I was listening to American Left on the radio earlier today and the host was interviewing a queer sort of fellow. He represented a queer bunch of people. He acknowledged that more inroads needed to be made into the Midwest to try and change the mindset of the region and to promote a queer way of thinking. His group promotes recruiting and advertising in certain liberal communities on the two coasts, the attributes of attending schools and vacationing in certain areas in the Midwest. Bloomington, IN was mentioned as a great place to visit as well as a great place to go to school. The gist of the conversation was to infiltrate the conservitive strongholds and promote slow but steady change through economic means as well as dialouge.

    Yes I do, I need to get it out and re-read it. It never hurts to study the play book of the enemy.

    A real good read if you are interested in communist history;

    THE SOVIET TRAGEDY, A History of Socialism in Russia, 1917-1991 by Martin Malia

    Martin Malia, a former professor of History at the University of California, Berkeley, taught Russian and European intellectual and political history for over 30 yrs.
