    LULAC National Policy Newsletter 08/02/07

LULAC of Minnesota Calls Upon Blood Donations and Contributions for the Recent Tragedy

We the members and friends of LULAC of Minnesota extend their condolences to the families of love ones who were lost in the tragic accident of the collapse bridge on I35W in Minneapolis. We wish a speedy recovery to all that were injured.

On August 1, 2007 the Minnesota community was stricken by an unexpected tragedy when the bridge on I35W crumbled into the Mississippi River, costing the lives of several and injuring many others. Please show your support and participate in the blood donation and contribution drive for the families that were affected, organized by LULAC of Minnesota and the American Red Cross.

LULAC of Minnesota calls on all LULAC members and friends to assist these families through the American Red Cross of Minnesota (Minneapolis chapter).

Please contact the American Red Cross in Minneapolis

And what diseases are these donors going to pass on?
Illegal aliens have not been tested, and how will the Red Cross know if a donor is legal or illegal?????

We also don't routienly test for many of the diseases they have. Like Chagis (I think). Probably spelled it wrong.......anyway....it's a not a disease typical from this part of the world so it hasn't been screened for that.
