DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — Authorities in Michigan say a 63-year-old California man who had explosives with him has been arrested outside one of the nation’s largest mosques in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn.

Dearborn police say Roger Stockham was arraigned Wednesday on one count of making a false report or threat of terrorism and one count of possessing explosives with an unlawful intent. A statement from police says Stockham had class-C fireworks.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Michigan chapter says Stockham was arrested Monday in the parking lot of Islamic Center of America.

He had class C fireworks.. What exactly was he gonna blow up with those?

Must be a slow news day, reaching for the bottom of the agenda driven barrel.

The man had a large number but undisclosed amount of class c fireworks. he also had made a threat to blow up the Mosque as well. This man also has a history of anti-government activities.

He also had a quantity of M-80's.

I'll add also that such fireworks while in their basic form are relatively mild with little danger someone with a little knowhow can turn them into a low quality bomb and with the right chemicals even a high quality bomb.

Now what he had unless there is more undisclosed wouldn't have been enough to take out the building or even really a section it could be enough to severely injure or kill people inside and also cause fire and large amounts of interior damage possibly even making the building not structurally sound.

Don't get so confused just because they say class C fireworks that its sparklers and tiny 3 year old things.
