Man arrested trying to jump White House fence

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Secret Service arrested a man who was trying
to jump the White House fence carrying a suspicious package on Sunday.

Secret Service spokesman Tom Mazur said the man, 44-year-old Roger
Witmer, was arrested before he made it over the fence.

Mazur said Witmer will be charged with unlawful entry, disorderly
conduct and destruction of government property.

"Evidently he had in his possession some type of plastic bag and that
ended up on the South Lawn at the fence line," said Mazur.

He characterized the bag as a "suspicious package" and said the Secret Service was still investigating its contents.
Mazur said the incident happened shortly before noon on Sunday.
President Bush, who had just wrapped up a late morning bike ride
off-site, was on his way to the White House complex at the time.

The destruction charge stems from the fact that Witmer, who has no
previous record with the Secret Service, damaged some of the fence as
    he tried to scale it.

Witmer is from the Washington, D.C., area, Mazur said.

Maybe we should have a symbolic invasion over the white house fence by Americans angry at what our president is doing to us. Or march around the fence chanting
PLEASE MR PRESIDENT, YOU HAVE YOUR FENCE WHERE IS OURS?or we could tell him to
TEAR THAT FENCE DOWN MR PRESIDENT, ENJOY YOUR OPEN BORDERS IN A REAL WAY.
Oh God, how could I have been so stupid twice
the only consolation I have is I don't think it would be any different with kerry in there!
I don't know if that is any consolation or it just means I was between a rock and a hard spot!
We have got to have some strong people in this next election. I wonder, if it would get any notice to the senators and president if all ALIPAC members changed their party afiliation to the Constitution Party, would we be enough to worry them a little?

They probably locked him under the jail cell and threw away the key.
Just like, what happened to that Arab that run those kids over at that university in NC in that SUV. What happened to him?
The media has a way of shutting up the important things we need to hear about.

Yep, he can be fully protected, but not us.

President Bush gets secret service, we do not even have the protection of our police.

President Bush gets a fence with massive security, we cannot even protect ourselves without being worried about the backlash.

President Bush does not have neighbors potentially in gangs, he does not have neighbors making meth and selling it.

And this man wants ut to see it his way? RIGHT!!! He has no idea what it is like out here, and he has forgotten how vulnerable you feel when not even local police will help you, or simply are so overwhelmed that they take hours to get to you.

This president of ours has forgotten what it is like, with his fence seperating him from the rest of America.

WE WANT OUR FENCE, AND WE WANT IT ASAP!!!!
