    MELISSA, Tx -- Mark Robinson was driving through downtown Melissa last week when he was pulled over for failing the use his turn signal.

    But instead of getting a ticket, the officer took the 24-year-old to jail.

    He was booked, strip searched, and sat for 3 hours with criminals. “People talking about using drugs and shooting heroine. They asked me what I was in there for and I said a turn signal violation,â€

    He said he refused to allow his car to be searched. He asked the officer if he had probable cause. SO the officer arrested him and searched his car anyways. Found nothing, but seems like they were trying to teach him a lesson of daring to speak to the authorities. Of course , we may never know the whole truth. The officer isn't telling his side of the story.

    If he would have had O license....NO insurance....and a car FULL of illegals....he would have been let go......

    I tend to agree, he was probably being disrespectful. If that is actually the case, I think he got what he deserved. However, like JP said, we're only getting one side of the story.
