Does anyone else think there is a version of affirimative...
Does anyone else think there is a version of affirmative action in the entertainment world regarding TV shows, awards, ratings and critics?
In the past few years I have seen a few TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy get praised by a few critics and audiences and there is always a mention of their multi-racial cast. What bothers me is that some fans and critics really praise the work of Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh. I have watched this show several times and I don't find anything special about their acting. Wilson's acting is a bit better but Oh is sort of bland. Both have been nominated or made the short lists for Emmys and other award nominations.
Does anyone else think they have been getting nominations for simply being a non-white actress on a popular TV show?
I have also seen Eva Longoria getting praised by critics but I think her acting is far worse than Oh and Wilson's acting.ProEnglish:The English Language Advocates
