Southeast Michigan 9.12 Project announces participation in launch of statewide ballot initiative!

The Southeast Michigan 9.12 Project, a Tea Party, is pleased to announce it is participating in the statewide petition drive regarding the Michigan Citizens Healthcare Freedom Amendment. The ballot initiative, to be officially launched this Monday will place a Constitutional Amendment on the November 2010 ballot.

Our first opportunity to pick up petitions will be Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at an informational meeting to be held at Jimi’s Restaurant, 714 S. Washington, Royal Oak, MI. At this point it will be possible for citizens to begin signing petitions!

The response has been amazing. Thousands of people have contacted the organizers of the Michigan Citizen’s Healthcare Freedom Amendment. It is exciting to be working with people across the state to fight back against the healthcare takeover.â€
