The Obama White House "new media" operations Czar recently contracted a technology vendor to conduct an enormous secret program to gather personal information on millions of Americans from Internet social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, according to the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC).

The Obama minions are interested in information such as comments, tag lines, emails, audio, and video that mention -- or related to -- President Barack Obama.

The sites targeted for surveillance include Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr and others –- any space where the White House “maintains a presence.â€

The White House was following me on twitter but I blocked them. I'm not so sure that will stop them though.

Un-believable. This is what a Fascist gov't does not a Democracy. What could anyone us say that is so damaging and/or threatening to the gov't? Since when can't we disagree with them? This is a violation to our rights.

What do you mean "following you" BB?

Its hard to explain unless you have a twitter account. There are options you get to choose. You can "follow" a user if you have similar issues, or someone can "follow" you if they are interested in your issues. But you have the option of having a user "unfollow" you by entering a "block blank blank from following me". Or you can at any time "unfollow" a user. (did I get you mixed uo yet? haha)
