(Natural News) A cluster of monkeypox cases has emerged in Chicago just as the World Health Organization (WHO) is declaring the health emergency over.
A dozen confirmed cases and one probable case of monkeypox were reported in the nation’s third-biggest city in the period from April 17 to May 5. In all of these cases, the virus was spread through sexual contact. Nine of the infections were noted in men who were fully vaccinated against the virus.
Although none of the infected individuals were hospitalized, the city is nevertheless warning of a “resurgence” of monkeypox. The illness grabbed a lot of headlines last year when it started spreading rapidly among gay and bisexual men in Europe and the U.S.; its rise coincided with gay pride celebrations in many cities. Cases peaked in August before tapering off, largely due to greater awareness. So far, just over 30,000 Americans have been diagnosed with monkeypox.
In the Chicago uptick, officials are worried about the disease spreading undetected among individuals, including those who are vaccinated. The men who are infected have an average age of 34, and a third of them also have HIV. Some of the men involved had recently traveled to places like Mexico, New York City and New Orleans.
Chicago Commissioner of Public Health Dr. Allison Arwady announced that cases have been rising in the Windy City. Speaking on Facebook Live, she said: “Most weeks we didn’t see a single mpox case, maybe one or two in a higher week. But just these last couple of weeks we saw two, then five, now another six coming in.”
Officials have been issuing warnings recently about the potential for a resurgence this summer as hundreds of thousands of individuals head to gay pride festivities throughout the nation. So far, however, there has not been an uptick beyond the one in Chicago.
A total of 62 cases were reported in the two-week period from April 26 to May 10, with most of them being in Texas, followed closely by Illinois. Other cases were reported in Louisiana, California, New York, Florida, Oregon and Alabama. However, officials from Texas said that at least 17 of those cases were actually from last year and were only just now being added to the CDC’s count.
WHO declares monkeypox health emergency over

The WHO recently declared an end to the international emergency declared over the virus last July, when Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus overruled an expert committee in issuing the designation. Some believe that he may have been acting out of an abundance of caution due to criticism over how the WHO responded to COVID in its early days.
However, he now says that the outbreak is largely under control, declaring: “We now see steady progress in controlling the outbreak based on the lessons of HIV and working closely with the most affected communities.
“I’m pleased to declare that the mpox is no longer a global health emergency,” he added.
Monkeypox, which is now sometimes referred to as “mpox” in an attempt to destigmatize it, has long been present in certain areas of western and central Africa, where individuals are infected by wild animals. However, it was not responsible for major outbreaks until epidemics started popping up around the world last May.
The disease is marked by a telltale rash accompanied by headache, fever, swollen lymph nodes and muscle pain. It can only be spread through close physical contact with someone who is infected, or contact with their bedding or clothing, and it generally responds well to antivirals. However, it can take around a month to recover from the virus.
Despite being relatively mild in most people, it won’t be surprising if officials and pharmaceutical companies use the Chicago uptick and the impending summer gay pride festivals as a reason to try to push vaccines on people.

A new strain of monkeypox with the potential to spread and cause another pandemic has been discovered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in Central Africa, say medical experts. Be afraid. Another pandemic psyop is being initiated.According to the Daily Mail, the strain dubbed clade 1b was found in the gold mining town of Kamituga in the DRC's South Kivu province. It evolved from the more lethal clade 1 variant of the virus, which is endemic to Central Africa. Clade 1b showed increased infectiousness and an enhanced ability to evade detection by conventional testing methods.
The Mail added that Kamituga – a poor, densely populated town sustained by its gold mining industry – could fuel the spread of clade 1b outside the DRC's borders. The local population, which often travels for work, interacts frequently with neighboring countries – exacerbating the risk of monkeypox.
Congolese scientists and international collaborators reported the discovery in a pre-print study posted April 14 on medRxiv. It highlighted clade 1b's "pandemic potential" and underscored the necessity for swift international cooperation to prevent a widespread health crisis. According to the study's authors, the town's health facilities as ill-prepared to handle a surge in cases due to the lack of resources and infrastructure needed to combat a major outbreak.
"Without intervention, this localized Kamituga outbreak harbors the potential to spread nationally and internationally," they wrote. "Given the history of [monkeypox] outbreaks in the DRC, we advocate for swift action by endemic countries and the international community to avert another global [monkeypox] outbreak."
As per the Mail, Kinshasa has been struggling to contain an earlier outbreak of clade 1b. It is believed to have emerged sometime between July and September 2023 in animals and jumped to humans.
There were 108 monkeypox clade 1b infections recorded in relation to this outbreak, alongside two deaths. As it spread in Kamituga, it acquired new mutations that helped it spread – especially among sex workers. Nearly 30 percent of cases were among sex workers, the tabloid pointed out.
As expected, study authors call for VACCINATION against monkeypox

The report called for immediate global support to supply vaccines, the implementation of widespread testing and enhancement of local health services to manage and contain the virus effectively. "Urgent measures must be implemented, including intensifying local surveillance; enhancing referral systems and case management; and implementing targeted [monkeypox] vaccination for individuals at high risk."
In 2022, a global outbreak of monkeypox caused by the less lethal clade 2 strain prompted international concern as cases surged in over 100 countries. Developed nations, however, managed to control its spread through effective testing and vaccination strategies.
This historical context raised alarms about the new clade 1b strain's potential impact, particularly given its origins in a region already struggling with the more virulent clade 1. But for Mac Slavo of SHTF Plan, there is a much more serious reason to be alarmed.

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is considering issuing a public health emergency declaration for monkeypox amid an outbreak of the disease in Africa."I am considering convening an International Health Regulations emergency committee to advise me on whether the outbreak of [monkeypox] should be declared a public health emergency of international concern," he posted on X on Aug. 4.
The Ethiopian-born Tedros said his agency, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), local governments and partners "are further scaling up the response to interrupt disease transmission." But he stressed that "more funding and support for a comprehensive response are needed."
According to the Epoch Times, "a public health emergency of international concern is the strongest designation for an outbreak," with a similar declaration being made for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) in early 2020.
A separate statement from the WHO head published in Science noted that the monkeypox virus "can and must be contained with intensified public health measures" – another excuse for medical tyranny. These measures include "surveillance, community engagement, treatment and targeted deployment of vaccines for those at higher risk of infection." Tedros also noted that "a further scaling up" of the monkeypox response already happening in affected countries is "urgently needed." The last health-related announcement made by the WHO about monkeypox was two years ago, during an outbreak that lasted from 2022 to 2023. During that outbreak that impacted Europe and the U.S., officials claimed monkeypox primarily spread through sexual contact between gay men. Alongside the WHO's declaration, the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden also declared an emergency over the virus.
Monkeypox detected in 10 African countries, but mostly in Congo

Tedros' post was made as the Africa CDC revealed in a report that monkeypox has been detected in 10 African countries this year.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (ROC) recorded more than 96 percent of all monkeypox cases and deaths. Health officials at the ROC said almost 70 percent of cases and 85 percent of deaths in the country are affecting children under 15 years old.
The continent's public health agency said there have been an estimated 14,250 cases of monkeypox so far in 2024 – almost as many as those from last year. It added that cases have risen by 160 percent and deaths by 19 percent compared to the first seven months of 2023.
Burundi and Rwanda both reported the entry of monkeypox for the first time in their countries, while the Central African Republic (CAR) and Kenya reported new outbreaks in their territories. "We are very concerned about the cases of monkeypox, which is ravaging [the capital region], CAR Health Minister Pierre Somse said on Aug. 5.
An Aug. 4 notice published by the non-profit International Society for Infectious Diseases, which cited the Ugandan Ministry of Health, said two monkeypox cases were confirmed in Uganda. "Both individuals presented with symptoms such as skin rash, swollen lymph nodes and general malaise," the ministry added.
Meanwhile, the Kenyan Ministry of Health said it found monkeypox in a passenger traveling from Uganda to Rwanda, adding that the patient was stopped at a border crossing in southern Kenya. The ministry justified the use of medical tyranny in a statement, noting that a single case was enough to warrant declaring an outbreak.
Over in South Africa, health officials confirmed that the country now has 22 monkeypox cases and three fatalities. "Contact tracing and monitoring activities are ongoing in the affected communities," the South African Department of Health (DoH) said in an Aug. 4 statement.
"The [DoH] urges all the identified contacts to cooperate with health officials during contact tracing for screening and possible diagnosis to prevent further transmission of this preventable and treatable disease."

In a recent interview with Austrian broadcaster AUF1, Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, based out of Germany, revealed that one of the known side effects of Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "vaccines" is a rashy, blistery, severe pain-filled condition that looks a whole lot like monkeypox, which the media is now calling "mpox."The main symptoms of monkeypox include blistery rashes that are extremely painful, which is also characteristic of both herpes zoster and shingles. In fact, a quick search for a transcript or clip of his interview on Google and Bing pulls up page after page of "fact checks" claiming that monkeypox has nothing to do with COVID injections. Like some kind of Pandemic 2.0 repeat, the stage is quickly being set to make monkeypox the next COVID, complete with lockdowns and PCR testing, which Dr. Wodang says are bogus just like they were the first time around.
PCR tests are nothing more than expensive ruses produced by the pharmaceutical industry – Dr. Wodang specifically mentioned Roche as one of their producers. The new narrative is that these PCR tests are necessary to detect the presence of monkeypox inside people's bodies.
This continued assault on the public's intelligence is wearing down people's understanding of diseases. There is one side that no longer even believes these so-called diseases are real outside of vaccine side effects while the other is so deathly afraid of the next "virus" that they are obeying whatever they are told by the media and government.
As for monkeypox, one can only imagine the number of "fully vaccinated" individuals who will eat up whatever gets dispensed concerning the disease and do whatever they are told. This includes taking PCR "tests" that whitewash the truth that monkeypox is a side effect of COVID "vaccination."
Dr. Wodang calls it a "perverse industry," referring to Big Pharma, that would pull these kinds of deceptions on the masses, scaring people into complying all for industry profit and eugenics purposes.
Another thing to consider about the rise of adult shingles throughout society is that this is likely a result of modern generations getting "vaccinated" for chickenpox. It used to be that chickenpox, like measles, was a common thing that people "caught" and recovered from naturally, providing them with lasting immunity – but that changed after chickenpox "vaccines" were introduced.
"I started seeing an increase in young people with shingles with this generation that was vaccinated for chickenpox," wrote someone on X claiming to have been a nurse for 20 years.
