U.S. corporation Monsanto plans to launch production of genetically modified marijuana, and companies such as Drug Policy Alliance y Open Society Foundation are going to create our own brand, which will be produced under cannabis, information portal La Red 21.

Organization of Open Society Foundation is under the control of the shareholder Monsanto, billionaire George Soros. Company Drug Policy Alliance y Open Society Foundation, funded by Monsanto will be responsible for market development of transgenic seeds of marijuana, particularly in Uruguay.

Uruguay – the first country in the world to officially legalize the production and sale of marijuana. Initiator of the law was the leadership of the State, headed by President Jose Mujica. According to authorities, a guarantee of success in Uruguay marijuana legalization should be state regulation of prices for hemp.

There are many reasons why Monsanto and other companies producing GMOs would like to learn a new product. Marijuana may be the next major GMO crop. First of all, the company plans to produce GMO manipulate so-called “medical marijuana”.

If pharmacists join with GMO companies, pharmaceutical mafia can create transgenic strains with the ability to produce more active compounds which are patented and can be implemented as a medicine.

It is also worth noting that former strategic director Jamin Shively Microsoft also announced that it plans to patent in the U.S. is the first national brand under which will be produced hemp imported from Mexico. The new company is based in Seattle.

Businessman said that the initial funding for the project is $ 10 million to start the company’s products will be distributed only in two U.S. states, but at the request of Shively:

“We will seek to ensure that in our hands was 40% of cannabis in the world.”

There's nothing they are leaving untouched: the mustard, the okra, the bringe oil, the rice, the cauliflower. Once they have established the norm: that seed can be owned as their property, royalties can be collected. We will depend on them for every seed we grow of every crop we grow. If they control seed, they control food, they know it -- it's strategic. It's more powerful than bombs. It's more powerful than guns. This is the best way to control the populations of the world. The story starts in the White House, where Monsanto often got its way by exerting disproportionate influence over policymakers via the "revolving door". One example is Michael Taylor, who worked for Monsanto as an attorney before being appointed as deputy commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1991. While at the FDA, the authority that deals with all US food approvals, Taylor made crucial decisions that led to the approval of GE foods and crops. Then he returned to Monsanto, becoming the company's vice president for public policy.

Thanks to these intimate links between Monsanto and government agencies, the US adopted GE foods and crops without proper testing, without consumer labeling and in spite of serious questions hanging over their safety. Not coincidentally, Monsanto supplies 90 percent of the GE seeds used by the US market. Monsanto's long arm stretched so far that, in the early nineties, the US Food and Drugs Agency even ignored warnings of their own scientists, who were cautioning that GE crops could cause negative health effects. Other tactics the company uses to stifle concerns about their products include misleading advertising, bribery and concealing scientific evidence.

Monsanto Found Guilty of Chemical Poisoning in Landmark Case

A French farmer who can no longer perform his routine farming duties because of permanent pesticide injuries has had his day in court, literally, and the perpetrator of his injuries found guilty of chemical poisoning. The French court in Lyon ruled that Monsanto’s Lasso weedkiller formula, which contains the active ingredient alachlor, caused Paul Francois to develop lifelong neurological damage that manifests as persistent memory loss, headaches, and stuttering during speech.
Reports indicate that the 47-year-old farmer sued Monsanto back in 2004 after inhaling the Lasso product while cleaning his sprayer tank equipment. Not long after, Francois began experiencing lasting symptoms that prevented him from working, which he says were directly linked to exposure to the chemical. Since Lasso’s packaging did not bear adequate warnings about the dangers of exposure, Francois alleged at the time that Monsanto was essentially negligent in providing adequate protection for its customers.
To the surprise of many, the French court agreed with the claims and evidence presented before it, declaring earlier this year that “Monsanto is responsible for Paul Francois’ suffering after he inhaled the Lasso product … and must entirely compensate him.” The court is said to be seeking expert opinion on how to gauge Francois’ losses in order to determine precisely how much Monsanto will be required to compensate him in the case.

“It is a historic decision in so far as it is the first time that a (pesticide) maker is found guilty of such a poisoning,” said Francois Lafforgue, Paul Francois’ lawyer, to Reuters earlier in the year.
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), exposure to alachlor can cause damage to the liver, kidneys, spleen, and eyes, and may lead to the development of anemia and even cancer. The EPA apparently views alachlor as so dangerous, in fact, that the agency has set the maximum contaminant level goals (MCLG) for alachlor to zero in order to “prevent potential health problems.” (http://water.epa.gov/drink/contamina...n/alachlor.cfm)
In 2007, France officially banned Lasso from use in the country in accordance with a European Union (EU) directive enacted in 2006 prohibiting the chemical from further use on crops in any member countries. But despite all the evidence proving that alachlor can disrupt hormonal balance, induce reproductive or developmental problems, and cause cancer, the chemical is still being used on conventional crops throughout the U.S. to this very day. Honoring the complaints of a small group of beekeepers in the state of Yucatán, who complained that Monsanto’s planned planting of thousands of hectares of GM soybeans made to withstand RoundUp would demolish their honey industry by decimating bees – a judge in Mexico has removed Monsanto’s planting permit. Monsanto can install Clarence Thomas on the U.S.00 Federal Judge circuit after working for their corporation, an obvious conflict of interest, but it looks like a Mexican judge won’t be bought off by biotech.

Though Monsanto will surely appeal the ruling, it will at least stall the growing season and give the bee-keepers time to gather additional support for their cause.
A district has overturned a permit issued to Monsanto by Mexico’s agriculture ministry, Sagarpa, and environmental protection agency, Semarnat, back in June 2012 that allowed commercial planting of RoundUp-ready soybeans.
If the permit had been honored, Monsanto would have been able to plant seeds in seven states, covering more than 253,000 hectares of land. (This amounts to almost a million acres.) Mayan farmers, beekeepers, and activist groups like Greenpeace, the Mexican National Commission for the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity, the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas, and the National Institute of Ecology have been vocally protesting this action.
The judge was apparently convinced that the scientific data showing a link between RoundUp, GMOs, and lowered honey production is very real. The Yucatán peninsula grows vasts amounts of honey, and in fact is the third largest exporter of honey to the world. The area includes Campeche, Quintana Roo, and Yucatán states. More than 25,000 families build their livelihoods on honey production. Almost all of the honey grown there is exported to the EU and amounts to over $54 million in Mexican money annually.
The judge ruled that honey production and GM soybeans could not co-exist.
In addition to known health risks posed by GMO crops and the herbicides used to grow them, there is also environmental damage to soil, water, and bee colonies which are dwindling fast. There are also long term changes to the ecosystems where GMOs are grown.
Since a landmark decision in 2011 by the European court of justice banned GM crop imports, GMO honey would likely not be accepted - similar to how Syngenta’s GMO corn strains are now being refused in China when exported from the U.S.
The ruling determined that honey derived from a GM crop would be unapproved for human consumption.
This follows an inaugural study conducted in Campeche, where about 10,000 hectares of GM soybeans were planted after Monsanto’s permit was approved in 2012. GM pollen was found in some honey samples destined for the European market.
Since bees pollinate vast tracts of land and could contaminate other crops besides the GM crops planted, GM soy plantings also have more exponential probability to cause damage.
The Monsanto ruling was commended by the respected national newspaper La Jornada, which accused the Mexican government of ignoring widespread concerns over GMOs and forcing bee keepers to fight it out in court with powerful multinational companies who have deep pockets to make legal battles go on at length.
Central to the ruling was the Mexican constitution, specifically the government’s obligation to fully consult indigenous communities before making any major decision about what happens to their land and food.
It’s too bad our own governments have long overlooked the people’s wishes regarding GM crops in the U.S.

In 2001 Epicyte Corporation isolated a protein that causes sterility and spliced its gene into corn so that men and women eating the corn would become sterile. They sold that technology to Monsanto and to DuPont. To date No Congressman, No Senator and No Presidential candidate has dared ask Monsanto, DuPont and Epicyte what they are doing with that Genetically Modified corn that sterilizes us and our children.

The world has more debt than at any time in the past 500 years. That means we are headed to the worst Depression in 500 years. Depressions simply put are periods in history when debts are cancelled through massive bankruptcies, unemployment, Austerity and tax increases because we have not yet learned to choose scientific Debt Cancellation instead of all that pain and all those wars.

10% of all American teenagers will have a previously rare liver disease (nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, or NAFLD) by the time they reach their 19th birthday. High Fructose Corn Syrup from Genetically Modified corn has been cited as the cause by many scientists. There has been an exponential growth in the consumption of GM HFCS as well as that rare liver disease. Can you estimate what percentage of Americans will be suffering from that previously rare liver disease in ten years?

America today is losing 23 manufacturing plants a day. That is after having lost more than 50,000 manufacturing plants since NAFTA (North American Free Trade Act).

Genetically Modified Organisms in multiple studies have been proven to cause cancer in test animals. GMO food after three generations produces sterile and diseased runts with underweight internal organs.

Only 51% of 2011 college graduates found jobs. Those who took out loans owed an average of $25,000 in student loans and $3,500 in credit card debt.

Polysorbate 80 is a food additive that is destroyed in the stomach during digestion. When added to vaccines as an adjuvant, it causes sterility.

A college graduate with $25,000 in student debts at 10% and $3,500 in credit card debts at 29.9% could pay of those debts over ten years with 120 monthly payments of $442.62 ($330.38 + $92.24). That is hard to do if you have a job at WalMart paying no more than a high school drop out co-worker.

Thousands of Americans who never smoked have developed lung cancer because they were exposed to the SIV-40 virus which was discovered to be in the polio vaccine. SIV-40 received its name because it was the 40th Simian Immunodeficiency Virus to be found in the first polio vaccine.

The dollar will go in the opposite direction.

The US Congress has appropriated funds to have 30,000 drones most of which are armed to keep American in line. The US Army has a manual entitled FM-3-39-40 Internment and Resettlement. The manual describes these as forced labor camps. Inmates are to be indoctrinated by US Army officers.

Michael Snyder tells us that: Since January 2009, the “labor force” in the United States has increased by 827,000, but “those not in the labor force” has increased by 8,208,000. This is how they have gotten the unemployment numbers to “come down”.

In the past two months we have seen more layoffs than at anytime in the past two years. This is despite the fact that Obama has asked defense employers to violate federal law and not give workers advanced warnings. Corporate earnings are down at a time when we are told we need to raise taxes and cut spending. Roosevelt tried that in 1938 and the unemployment rate shot back up to 17%.

Almost one in four American workers has a take hone pay at or below the federal poverty level. To say you are employed today is not the same as in 1970 when wages were high enough to pay a mortgage, buy a car and feed your children three times a day every day of the week.

A lawsuit filed in federal court by the Spire law group estimates the total cost of bank and mortgage fraud at 43 trillion dollars. Do you understand that the Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration and the laws that repealed the Bill of Rights are there to make sure you can never demand the bankers return the 43 trillion dollars the bankers stole from you?

Do you understand that bankers want you sterilized so the New World Order has fewer people to resist? Do you comprehend how evil and mercenary your government is that wants you to get cancer and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on treatments designed to fail before you die? Do you understand that 4,000 American children were killed in scientifically unnecessary medical experiments just so the bankers could develop a cadre of government workers willing to kill children?

Have you finally realized the depth of their hatred for us? They want even the best of us to die.

Monsanto Panics: Drops Another $3.5 Million to Defeat GMO Labeling in Oregon and Colorado

Biotech giant continues attack on transparency

The ballots are out and voting has begun. Monsanto is panicking, and so are their biotech and GMO manufacturing friends.

So much so that they just dropped a staggering $2.5 million in addition to what they’ve already spent to defeat GMO labeling in Oregon – bringing the total to $4.5 million in just one state. They also dropped another cool million in Colorado – bringing the total to about $5 million in that state – all to keep voters from checking that YES LABEL GMOs box at the voting booths or on their ballots. What exactly are these companies trying to hide from U.S. consumers?

Monsanto isn’t the only one spending money left and right trying to defeat GMO labeling. Pepsi Co has added another $1.4 million in Oregon to try to defeat GMO labeling, and $1.65 million in Colorado. Other food manufacturing companies have put in their own small change to try to defeat these initiative as well, but we are down to the wire now, and the makers of genetically modified crops are pulling every last trick they can – with heavily run ads and seemingly endless pockets.

A number of organizations are in the process of trying to generate funds and awareness, as many other non-GMO activists try to spread the world so that these big corporations don’t have their way with our food supply. Food Democracy Now currently has a sponsor supporting a 3 to 1 match if you can donate.

If you don’t wnat to put forth funds, though, you can be a mouthpiece for the anti-GMO movement and tell everyone you know (especially if they reside in Colorado or Oregon) the importance of voting these initiatives into place. Tell your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest, Google, – everywhere. Tell your mailman.

Also tell your kids and your grandkids. Tell your parents, and your best friend’s hairdresser. The more people that know about the under-handed tactics of biotech to prohibit the sustainable access of food to consumers, the better. We can defeat them not just with money, but also by educating people about how damaging GMOs are for us and the environment – but we have to act expediently.

Both initiatives – Proposition 105 on the statewide ballot in Colorado and Measure 92 in Oregon will decide if biotech can keep forcing GMOs down our throats.
