    Roy Beck of NumbersUSA relates the problems Senate Republicans face in trying to get an E-Verify amendment attached to the unemployment insurance extension currently being debated in Congress.

    Astounded by statements made by Sen. Durbin (D-IL), Beck says, “Such is the ability for self-deception in Congress that I wonder if Sen. Durbin and his foreign-labor-importing buddies have the slightest consciousness of their counterproductivity.â€
    If you didn’t have time to do the job right in the first place, where are you gonna to find the time to do it over again?

    Thanks. Been hangin around for most of the year, don't know why I -only recently- got around to joining. I really like the open format.
