I had a sign outside my office that said "Those who work should not vote because it is not fair to everyone else."

I did get some flack for this, but after explaining everyone seemed to take a deeper thought. I even went to the bank today and said the same thing to the Teller.

I am a working person and will be for a long time to come. I would say I get about a 30% chance to vote. Even if the polls close after I leave the office I still have to go through traffic. So I am upset that someone gets to vote my hard work, late nights, education, etc. just for themselves. It is often difficult for people that work to get a chance to vote whereas those who do not work..unemployed, housewives/hubbies, retired, etc. have easy access.

This just seems wrong to me. My hats off to the retired, but those on welfare, or those playing the system get a chance to take away my goals and ambitions because I have to take care of myself and them.

...Thanks for the vent!!
