Imams' lawyer wants US Airways complaints

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Attorneys representing six Muslim imams removed from a US Airways flight are asking a federal magistrate in Minneapolis to require the airline to hand over 10 years of discrimination complaints.

The lawyers want to compare the airline's behavior before and after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

But US Airways attorney Dane Jaques is arguing that the Tempe-based airline should only have to divulge three years' worth of data. He says everything changed after 9/11.

The imams have sued the airline over a Nov. 20, 2006 incident at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. They were kicked off a US Airways flight to Phoenix after a passenger expressed concern about them making "anti-U.S." comments and praying in Arabic
