In a week when Jews will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the New Year—5771, the connection between the Nazi’s rebellion against the Judeo-Christian worldview and the present-day ideology that drives the environmental movement needs to be exposed.

Anti-Semitism is on the rise in Europe and elsewhere around the world, driven in part by the Islamic hatred of Jews, but also reflected in the liberal antipathy to corporations and the financial community, often portrayed as “Jewish bankersâ€

Ohhh...ppplllease!. These same kinds of things could be said about any innovative era in history. No doubt the invention of the steam locomotive had a lot of people cursing it, too. Maybe the introduction of hydroelectric power in the 1880's had detractors. Certainly the invention of the automobile did.

What do you propose that the United States make for exports in the next few decades? Out here on the west coast we've got a lot of experimentation going on with alternative energy systems. If we act soon enough we could capture a new market---just as jet airliners and computer software have done for us in the past. Sure there are a fair number of fringe lunatics. But the employees of companies like Boeing and Microsoft, plus the hundred of industries that support them, enjoy having decent paying jobs.

In fact, I think a mountainous region like Afghanistan might be a prime candidate for micro-hydro electric power. We just need someone to drop in there and explain it to 'em....
