KERNERSVILLE -- Kernersville police are looking for a suspect in connection with a Wednesday evening road rage shooting they are now calling domestic related.

Road Rage Leads To Shooting

Police said that just before 8 p.m. a vehicle driven by Andre Morales Rustrian rammed another car off the road near the Union Cross Road exit off Interstate 40.

That's when Rustrian got out of his car and fired two shots, hitting 30-year-old Bernarvo Santa Maria Saucedo, police said.

Police said the woman who was driving the car Saucedo was in was the estranged wife of the suspect and that the chase began at her house.

Saucedo is in stable condition at Baptist Hospital.

Kernersville police said they are still searching for Rustrian.

"We are doing an active search. This individual supposedly lives in the Forsyth County area and also is known to be from Florida," said Kernersville police Lt. David Watson.
