Thread: Need Bank advice....

I have had my savings/checking accounts at Citi Bank for years....Want out....Is Wells Fargo a reliable bank....or Chase (they have just opened LOTS of branches here in Nevada lately)..any one with any good pertinant facts about what Bank is good?????and what to avoid?

I know that most financial experts and others are recommending people stay away from the bigger banks and instead patronize their small local banks and credit unions.

Wells Fargo gives home loans to illegal aliens

Bank of America gives credit cards to illegals.


I would personally avoid both of those banks.

I bank at a local credit union that is so small it has no branches. It started out as the school district credit union when I worked there, but now you can't tell by the name. Credit unions are nicer than banks.

I bank at a local credit union too although I did consider a local bank which I believe is a good alternate choice.

I will not fund the growth of Mega Banks especially if they cater to IA's.
