    Need Help with LCD TV question

    hey guys, found a Sanyo LCD 32" TV at Wal-Mart I liked but I am really not sure whats good and bad these days as far as the specs go.. all I know is, I want to play my Xbox 360 on it via HD and have my satellite hooked up to it. please let me know what you think

    I've no experience with that unit, nor any other LCD TV yet, but I'm in the discovery process before making a purchase.

    Make sure it's HD compatible. A lot of the cheap LCDs being sold at WalMart are EDTV, not HDTV. Also, make sure that it is multimode compatible. Most LCDs have a widescreen native format. Some will properly proportion a standard NTSC signal and some will stretch standard television to the widescreen format. Have the salesman switch between widescreen and standard aspect ratio and make sure neither of them is stretched or compressed.
