BUENA PARK, Calif. — Even as the American economy shows tentative signs of a rebound, the human toll of the recession continues to mount, with millions of Americans remaining out of work, out of savings and nearing the end of their unemployment benefits.

Through the printing of fiat money they have created a stealth socialism.
My mom told me that the reason socialism always fails is because if everyone gets an equal share in everything, why work hard.
Even now that through the counterfeiting of the money supply and the creation of a stealth socialism people are finding it pointless to work hard.
No matter how we have been voting through the spending of our money there are those that can out spend us simply by printing their money up. Plus they send us the bill!
Look at this chart showing the purchasing power of the dollar falling. It would take counterfeiting the entire money supply between ten and seventeen time to move the value down this far.

Good one StokeyBob!
Where did you get the Super Dollar? That's great!
Yes, I was aware that by 2007 the dollar had lost 96% of it's purchasing power. And that was basically since the end of WWII. But even that in itself is fiat, as that value is thought up out of thin air too. Comparatively speaking, it takes as of 2007, $21.60 to purchase what $1.00 silver dollar, whether coin, or fiduciary note would purchase in 1913.
The good thing is, that the people are waking up to the ruse.
