quote(because the Federal government has stolen so much money from the fund, then sold special treasury securities on those stolen funds to countries like China to finance the massive debt accruing across the board.)quote
Bingo, I only wish the media would put out this info.,question what happen to the money saved this past two years not giving seniors a cost of living increase, how much was saved.?
2-where did the money go of those folks who paid forty years and died prior to 62 or 65.?
The government does not want to pull the plug on SS because it's a huge pot to steal from. If the age to draw is raised to 68-69 then when one reaches the magic age guess what, money gone again.
Social Security=tax.....................Ponzi scheme at best only problem is old folks your living too long now we need to find someway to "remove" you from society, and we found it with Obamacare.
Social Security was not meant to be a welfare catch all for unwed moms, immigrants over 70 who come with their children and have never paid in a dime. Cut it out totally but tell the truth.I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

First, it is a lie that our generation is expected to live so much longer than the last generation. Truth is we wont. They just say that because they want an excuse to keep robbing the pot. They are increasing the age of eligibility so they can rob the pot even more. Workers are forced to pay this for their whole life, then in the end they get shafted. SS was never suppose to be taxed either. So it is a double robbery.

The biggest lie IMO is the fact they throw SS money in with general revenue and it's used for everything and yet they still try to blame it on seniors, again to those in power stop SS if you wish now but speak the truth about where it goes. Simply we have a corrupt government who wishes to blame the people.

Oh but wait how long has it been since the pensions plans have gone down the drain for the majority of folks.....and now followed by the 401Ks Now the government as a new slick idea...they want to propose their own plan for retirement...with themselves in control...
Crooked is as crooked does....

I want THIER retirement plan. Work part-time for 5 years and then get 150K for life.
If there needs to be tax cutting that's where it needs to be cut, they don't work for us anyways all you get are excuses for their excesses....As far as I am concerned government workers are dead weight. Between the politicians, government workers, and government unions I can't tell who's taking more from the troth that we all pay into. They all need to go on SS and Medicare like the everybody else. I am so tired of hearing them all complain.
