MMCCAIN MOUNTS LATE COMEBACK IN KEY POLLS

Battleground polls show that Sen. John McCain is pulling even with Sen. Barack Obama in several key swing states even as voters nationwide stream to the polls to cast their ballots.

McCain faces uphill battles in other important states, however, including Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Virginia, and Nevada.
