CARSON CITY, Nev. -- A complaint filed against a Las Vegas family court judge accuses him of various judicial canon offenses -- including a demand that his ex-wife's daughter have sex with him to keep her job as his judicial assistant.

The Nevada Judicial Discipline Commission complaint against Clark County Family Court Judge Nicholas Del Vecchio alleges that he pressured the woman, in her mid-20s at the time, into having sex with him about once a month for several months in 2003.

The 38-count commission document, which isn't a criminal complaint, also alleges a sexual contact between Del Vecchio and the woman years earlier, before he was on the bench and when she was 14.

Del Vecchio, reached by phone at his Las Vegas office, said, "I systemically, categorically deny all the charges. I'm sure that eventually I will be cleared."

Del Vecchio also said the Clark County Office of Diversity had investigated "many of the same allegations" included in the discipline panel's complaint, "and I was cleared of all charges."
