A firefighter from New York City who was forced to retire early after getting injured by Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "vaccines" he was forced to take in order to keep his job is suing the Big Apple for damages, including expanded disability payments.
O'Brian Pastrana now suffers from permanent health damage as a result of the jabs, which he was required to take due to a citywide mandate. Pastrana's lawyer noted that the city is in denial about what has happened, which he says is part of a "disturbing pattern of deliberate cruelty" towards the vaccine-injured and those who spoke out against the mandates.
Back in June, the Fire Pension Fund's Board of Trustees denied Pastrana's request for more substantial disability benefits. This was after the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Board of Health concluded that Pastrana did, in fact, suffer a heart injury from the injection.
The problem, besides his permanent heart issue, is that Pastrana is now having to live off of about half his regular salary. This represents a major pay cut, and Pastrana wants to up that amount to at least equal what he was receiving previously before he was forced to get injected as a condition of continued employment.

COVID jabs caused Pastrana to nearly die of heart failure

Pastrana received his first dose of one of the mRNA (modRNA) COVID injections on Oct. 29, 2021. He suffered an immediate anaphylactic response that included hives, swelling of the lips and various other horrific symptoms that persisted for weeks.
Pastrana had to be treated in an emergency room for these symptoms and was later seen by an FDNY doctor who diagnosed him as having suffered from a COVID injection side effect. From then on, Pastrana suffered on-and-off bouts of serious symptoms for weeks thereafter, which pulled him out of work a second time and brought him back to the emergency room.
Since Pastrana had not yet received his second dose of injection but was still suffering allergic reactions to the first, he brought up these concerns with his FDNY doctor in the hopes of skipping the second dose, but was denied.
On Nov. 23, 2021, Pastrana received his second dose, and his health immediately started to deteriorate.
"I was having shortness of breath, chest pain, and I was super fatigued – I couldn't do anything," Pastrana told The Defender "I was afraid I was going to die."
Despite being only 35 years old, Pastrana was suffering from what his wife, a nurse, suspected may be a heart condition. With no cardiac history, though, he was certain this was not the case.
A few months later in February 2022, Pastrana was diagnosed with myocarditis and was determined to be in the throes of heart failure.
"They told me, 'You can never again be a NYC firefighter,'" he says. "I kept saying to myself, maybe if I get a second opinion or a third opinion, maybe I'll hear something different. Every single one of them said the same thing."
A month later in March, an FDNY doctor took Pastrana off full duty and recommended that he retire. He was offered the minimal "ordinary disability retirement," despite there being higher tiers of disability benefits available, which pays out just 50 percent of his $92,000 salary, minus taxes.
Pastrana's attorney says his client should be medically and legally eligible for "accidental disability benefits," which are usually awarded when a firefighter suffers an accidental injury. That tier pays three-quarters of a firefighter's salary with no taxes taken out.
