What a week for the Gaffe Twins.

First, Joe Biden bone-headedly urges a disabled veteran in a wheelchair to “Stand upâ€

I hope and pray he will not win. I do not want McCain, but Obama seems to be somewhat of an idiot in this, shown by his lack of sensitivity and care about others disabilities. How can we trust a man who would not even care to find out why McCain could not type, what else would he simply forget or neglect to know?

Malkin had another interesting observation about how each candidate put a rose on the pile at Ground Zero. Obama threw it on and McCain crouched and put it slowly on. Go to this link to see the video of the different tosses. Interesting how people are looking at it.

Ground Zero etiquette: A tale of two roses
    By Michelle Malkin • September 11, 2008 10:41 PM

It’s a small gesture, but gestures matter at the hallowed grave site of so many murdered innocent Americans.

Barack Obama flings a memorial rose at Ground Zero like he’s a kid tossing pennies into a fountain at the shopping mall — or a spectator tossing flowers at a bullfight.

He doesn’t know what he’s doing.

(Clueless NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg copies him.)

By contrast, John McCain and his wife kneel and gently, somberly, place their roses down at the foot of the 9/11 tribute.

Tons of you e-mailed me about this. Here’s the vid for the rest of you who didn’t see it. It’s a telling cultural and generational distinction between these two men vying to be commander-in-chief of our nation:

Here’s another angle (you can see Bloomberg’s toss in this one):

    ***

Reader Joe W. also notices: “The first 30 seconds showed that Obama could not take the time to shake hands with the uniformed firemen (John McCain took the time) nor the construction worker with the American flag hardhat…He was painfully uncomfortable at this ceremony!â€

Righjt now.....people are afraid to say or do anything because whatever they do is going to be offensive by someone. Some is simple ignorance, others too involved in self to notice the obvious, some forced to go through motions they'd rather not be in and a slew of people analysing every move and making judgements before they know anything.

Small things speak volumes but it also goes to infantile nit-picking.

I don't like any of them so it's nothing to their defense.....but this is going to insane extreems. God forbid a photographer caught me smile at my parents funeral and make the judgement I was happy about it.

Next, Barack Obama mocks John McCain for not using a computer to send e-mail — despite mainstream media articles dating back to 2000 that report he can’t type because of the war injuries inflicted by his Vietnamese torturers
Even without Vietnam, there are MANY people his age who haven't embraced technology. We had ALOT of changes in a very short time and if you don't NEED it and can do your job without it, why degrade him. Bet there's a few who can't handle a pencil sharpener or whittle a pencil to a point either. Some of these text whizes couldn't type manually either or know how to look up a book from the card catalogue in the library....or actually read a book. Probably never heard of carbon paper or how to change a TV channel without a remote. Some of these young ones think they have it licked because they know technology but are brain dead with basic skills.

Obama's ego knows no bounds. What a disrespectful little man he is, but then again he believes that he is THE ONE. What utter tripe! He is a colossal joke, is what he is.
