    Secretary of state candidate Orly Taitz has filed court papers suggesting Elena Kagan’s nomination to the Supreme Court is a reward for protecting Barack Obama from Taitz.

    Taitz, a Laguna Niguel attorney whose built a reputation for allegations that Obama is not a natural-born citizen, writes that as solicitor general, Kagan had received Taitz’s claims that Obama has not presented a valid birth certificate and has used a Social Security number that’s not his.
