Thread: To people voting third party and sitting it out

This may sound unspeakable just a few months ago, but I beg all third party supporters that love this country to support McCain/Palin in 2008. Because Obama is very very bad news, and we as a nation will be "destroyed", or greatly set back for possibly decades, that will hurt this country very badly. I beg you to vote McCain, so we don't have to see that future. Thank you.

Reasons to oppose Obama with everything you have inside of you.
He runs with very bad people, with some terrorist and muslim. He was a muslim as a kid. Enough there to be very concerned for your country. Many a muslim terror group has said their goal is to turn the white house into the "muslim house". The prime Minister of Keyna that he worked with to get into office, losed but killed 1,500 people and starting to burning down churches. Today he is prime Minister of Keyna. Obama has been running with Ayers since the late 1980s, but started his state senator job in the front room of Ayers, that bombed importand government buildings and wanted to over through the United states government. How much do you want and need to vote McCain?
He will rise taxes-250,000 or more would include a lot of small businesses that would get hurt because of it. Already the upper class or the top 5% of earners in this country pay like 70%+ of taxes in this country. The oil corps that the democrats want to tax the air out of pay 2 times as much as they get back in taxes. NO wonder they can't do anything. In believe me Obama plans a lot more then this.
He will sign laws that will make all laws to limit Abortion are overturned. 30 years of fighting down the river for us. With his nationalize health care Abortion will be free.
He wants to Nationalize health care, look at Canada, UK ect.
He will limit gun rights, and if he gets the supreme court he wants; he will ban them all together. He is one of the most liberal in the senate on this issue and abortion.
He will promote global government-He already has a plan that to give 850,000,000 over 13 years to the UN even before he reaches the white house. I expect he will sign all laws that gets to his desk with the law of the sea treaty.
He will promote chain illigal amnesty(So will McCain, but what is above McCain opposes to, so yes it is the less of two evils by far) I don't like it.
He will cut our millitary by 25%, he will kill all new development of hardware. He will kill missle shield. He will make our country at the mercy of our enemies, do not allow him into the white house.
He will form a thug brown shirt civil millitary right here in America.
God knows what else...He said he wants to make it as strong as the millitary and as well funded.

Is that enough for you to vote McCain to make sure this don't happen???

While I don't care for his economic or social policies McCain won't be helping us out either. In both cases, they will borrow and spend us into bankruptcy - with Obama it's the welfare state, with McCain the warfare state.

I'm not kidding at all; Obama is the most leftest senator in the whole senate; even left of Sanders of Vt. That is a fact. He is 100% for killing babies and taken guns away(banning them). He has a 95.5% left rating. This guy also supports human cloning and taxing the rich even more then they are currently being taxed. He will likely tax the upper class into the ground.

He was a muslim as a kid and want to school to learn about it. Our islamic enemies say they wish to make the white house theirs. I'm not joking. It is no hype.

McCain has a 60% right of center rating over 2007-2008, he is a moderate. Before the 2000 election he was 82% life time rating. He will protect life, and keep our millitary strong.

I hate it that he is pro Amnesty and that is bad, because if it passes we are in trouble anyways. But please take Obama very very very seriously. Obama will also cencor talk radio and us.

IMO, Obama's endorsements alone should encourage folks to take pause. Obviously everyone of these folks/groups think Obama can do something to further their cause or aid them in some way. I realize Obama can't help who endorses him, however, the idea that he shares an ideology (at some level) with these folks should be extremely concerning.

I'm not voting on McCain because I like him (I despise the man). However, I feel the alternative is much worse. At this juncture, I think it has become abundantly clear that a 3rd party candidate is not going to win. Moreover, it would also appear as if no 3rd party candidate will acquire enough votes to sway future opinion or encourage change.

Unlike Matthewcloseborders, I'm not going to ask for you to vote McCain/Palin. However, I do think it is important that all things be taken into consideration in the decision process.

Not gonna happen. The lesser of two evils is still evil. I'll sleep good at night knowing that I did not compromise my vote like I did 4 years ago and resented it all along. We the People can seek strong representation in Congress and not be bamboozled by these career DC insiders anymore.

For the members who might agree with you, I would recommend this only for the battlegrounds states. For other states where either McCain or Obama has a clear advantage this is wasting a vote. There is no reason to vote for McCain in these states, so vote for who you really want and send a message.
