Clear Channel's Lack of 'Humanitarian Approach' Could Justify Limiting Radio Stations it Owns, Says Herbie Hancock

(CNSNews.com) - The Center for American Progress (CAP), run by John Podesta, the former transition director for President Barack Obama, has proposed that one way to attain more "diversity" in talk radio is to cap the number of radio stations owned by large syndicates such as Clear Channel Communications.

Grammy Award-winning musician Herbie Hancock told CNSNews.com that Clear Channel, unlike Google, does not have a "humanitarian approach" to its business and that this could justify government examining the number of stations the company, or similar organizations, should be allowed to own.
