Obama Goes to a Luau as Terrorists Visit the United States

As someone who lives 1,600 miles from immediate family, I look forward to the holidays as an opportunity to visit and reconnect with loved ones. But, after the terrorist attack aboard Northwest flight 253 on Christmas Day, it may be best to just forgo visits during the major holidays and pick non-peak times to get together.

In case you don’t know what happened and rely on this column as your one-and-only news source (and who can blame you), one of these insecure animals who has a desire to satisfy a fantasy of meeting 70 virgins decided he was going to take down a plane of grandparents who were to set to visit family for the holidays. Instead, he set himself on fire (what a genius) and was subdued by passengers known more for geriatric planning than playing the role of air marshal.

The White House Decides to Take Action

So, in classic government fashion, the Obama administration – all the way from the beaches in Hawaii – decided to “investigate how travellers are placed on watch lists and explosives are detected on passengers.â€
