Obama lies once again. Members of Congress have not debated

Obama said yesterday that everything was debated over and over in Congress concerning the proposed health care/insurance issue. That is a bald faced lie. What has not been discussed, and no conclusion arrived at is, where in our Constitution have the people of the various States granted an intended power to authorize the federal government to enter the various united States and enforce federal legislation taxing for, spending on and regulating the health care needs and choices of the people within the respective united States?

It’s a very easy question to answer Obama, especially for one who is portrayed as a constitutional law professor!

You may want to start by pointing to Federalist No. 45:

“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected.

The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.

Gee, Professor, that would appear to suggest no such power was granted. And, if no such power was granted Professor Obama, could it be that our president and the Democrat Party leadership is attempting to usurp such power?

I also hear that a majority of the America People are not in favor of the federal government interfering with and dictating the decisions they make regarding their health care needs. I also discovered that our federal Constitution actually requires consent of the people via Article V of our Constitution for our federal government to exercise powers not granted by our existing Constitution. So, Professor Obama, since you assert everything has been debated over and over, where in our Constitution have the people of the various united States granted an intended power to authorize the federal government to enter the various united States and enforce federal legislation taxing for, spending on and regulating the health care needs and choices the people may make?

Well John, heck, they've all been usurping power since the unCivil War. Look at the huge usurpation that took place during the Reconstruction. The former Confederate States were not allowed to re-enter the Union until they adopted a State Constitution that the Congress in DC approved of? This is after it was stated that the the mission of the Union was the preservation thereof, and not to "conquer" and or subjugate the people of, nor the States that seceded. But within 2 years of the end of hostilities, it changed to the opposite, in Congress.

They do as they please with no reguard for the citizens of any of the States.

Not sure if you've seen these or not, but they are of interest to those of us who study the Constitution.

There is much much more there to look at. I still am reading Undermining the Constitution as I saved it in text form so I can pull it up when needed, or print a few pages to read at length. Just makes it easier.

This gentleman gives a pretty good little synopsis of the Civil War and Reconstruction.

But isn’t it a sad shame that our first black president turns out to be a despotic tyrant, looking to make the entire nation dependent up government for its subsistence, and enlarging the iron fist of the Washington Establishment?

Hey Obama, where does the federal government get the power to tax the paychecks of hard working people living in Harlem, South Philly, Newark, N.J. and other inner cities to finance the health care needs of unproductive pot heads living in California and Oregon?

If we can make 51 percent of America’s population dependent upon a federal government check, we can then bribe them for their vote, keep ourselves in power and keep the remaining portion of America’s productive population enslaved to pay the bills ____ Our Washington Establishment’s Republican/;Democrat Marxist game plan, a plan to establish a federal plantation and redistribute the bread which labor and business has earned.

The plantation was established a long time ago. It was just camoflaged to look like an all American amusement park. With surfin' too.

All that was required was to populate it like the Hotel California. (You can checkout anytime you like, you just can never leave).

Another specific health care issue which, I might add that our spineless Republican Party leadership fail to point out about the progressives’ clear intentions to have federally mandated coverage for preexisting conditions is, one of the most powerful lobbying groups behind government mandated insurance coverage for preexisting-conditions are the millions in America infected with STD/HIV/AIDS. And, Nancy Pelosi is determined to get that kind of coverage for her loud mouthed sexually promiscuous constituents. Let’s look at some statistics of those demanding such coverage.

Here are some interesting statistics regarding those with STD/HIV/AIDS, and cry the loudest for government mandated preexisting coverage:

At the end of 2006, an estimated 1.1 million persons in the United States were living with diagnosed or undiagnosed HIV/AIDS [1]. In 2007, 42,655 new cases of HIV/AIDS in adults, adolescents, and children were diagnosed in the 33 states with long-term, confidential name-based HIV reporting [2]. CDC has developed an innovative system designed to estimate the number of new HIV infections (or incidence) for the United States in a given year. Using this technology, CDC estimates that 56,300 new infections occurred in the United States in 2006 [3].

In 2007, the largest estimated proportion of HIV/AIDS diagnoses among adults and adolescents were men who have sex with men (MSM). This category accounted for 53% of the overall diagnoses and 71% among men [2]. High-risk sexual contact (sexual contact with persons known to have HIV infection or have a higher risk of contracting HIV infection) accounted for 11% of the overall diagnoses.

Also see These Statistics regarding STDs, they are mind boggling!

    Executive Summary

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) have a significant health and economic impact on the American people. However, the scope of the STD epidemic can be difficult to measure. The most widely quoted estimate - 12 million annual new STD infections - was published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1988. This report updates that estimate. A panel of experts convened by the American Social Health Association (ASHA) for the Kaiser Family Foundation calculates that the actual number of new cases of STDs is approximately 15 million annually.

BOTTOM LINE is, the sexually promiscuous want the prudent to pay the costs of their irresponsible sexual activities and preexisting coverage is their ticket to have others to pay for their irresponsible activities..

When will people be held accountable for their own actions?
