(CNSNews.com) - Speaking in a video message to residents of West African countries currently experiencing outbreaks of Ebola, President Barack Obama dispensed advice on how residents can avoid the disease, including:"You cannot get it through casual contact like sitting next to someone on a bus."
At the same time, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is advising Americans who travel to the Ebola-stricken nations to "avoid public transportation."

“First, Ebola is not spread through the air like the flu,” Obama said in the video released by the White House Thursday. “You cannot get it through casual contact like sitting next to someone one a bus. You cannot get it from another person until they start showing symptoms of the disease, like fever.”
Obama also said that “the most common way you can get Ebola is by touching the body fluids of someone who is sick or has died from it, like their sweat, saliva or blood, or through a contaminated item like a needle.”

The CDC, however, is advising aid workers and others who travel to countries currently experiencing Ebola outbreaks to “avoid public transportation” if they develop a fever or experience other Ebola-like symptoms while on their trip.

Listed among their online recommendations for travelers journeying to Liberia, Guinea, Nigeria or Sierra Leone, the CDC advises travelers who begin to exhibit possible Ebola symptoms and choose to visit a doctor to “Limit your contact with other people when you travel to the doctor; avoid public transportation.”

The CDC also told travelers with Ebola symptoms, “Do not travel anywhere except to the doctor’s office or hospital.”
“If you get symptoms of Ebola, it is important to stay apart from other people and call your doctor right away,” the website continues.

The CDC also explains a person may contract Ebola if he or she “spends a long amount of time within three feet (one meter) of a person who is sick with Ebola.”

Recommended precautions to avoid contracting Ebola “includes wearing a mask over your mouth and nose, waterproof gloves, a gown (to protect clothing), and eye protection (goggles or a face shield – corrective glasses are not enough).”

On another page detailing Ebola exposure risks and “Public Health Actions,” the CDC reports there is “some risk of exposure” from “other close contact with an [Ebola] patient in health care facilities or community settings.” For these patients, the CDC recommends “If air transport is clinically appropriate and indicated, air medical transport only (no commercial conveyances permitted).”

“Controlled movement requires people to notify the public health authority about their intended travel for 21 days after their last known potential Ebola virus exposure,” the CDC stated. “These individuals should not travel by commercial conveyances (e.g. airplane, ship, long-distance bus, or train). Local use of public transportation (e.g. taxi, bus) by asymptomatic individuals should be discussed with the public health authority.”

“If travel is approved, the exposed person must have timely access to appropriate medical care if symptoms develop during travel,” the CDC continued.

“Approved long-distance travel should be by chartered flight or private vehicle; if local public transportation is used, the individual must be able to exit quickly.”

Former Border Patrol Agent: CDC “Disappearing” Potential Ebola Victims

Exclusive: Infowars correspondent confirms illegal aliens with illnesses being secretly quarantined

by Paul Joseph Watson | October 10, 2014

Former Border Patrol Agent Zach Taylor has divulged that the CDC is working with Border Patrol authorities and the Department of Homeland Security to disappear potential Ebola victims attempting to cross the border into the United States.

    Published on Jul 20, 2014
Zach Taylor is a 27 year veteran Border Patrol agent with supervisory experience. He has testified before Congress as an expert witness on criminal activity in wilderness areas. His message is credible. He accuses the federal government in a coverup that is deliberately shielding critical information from the public.

Taylor says that whoever is perpetrating the border crisis is engaged in a perfect asymmetrical military tactic. While the American people focus on "the children," he points out that they are actually only a tiny proportion of the people crossing the border. That we are apprehending about 10 percent of the illegal border crossers, and that the other 90 percent are not children. Since only 10 - 15 percent of those apprehended are children, that means we are focused on about 1 percent of the problem. The adults that we are missing are bringing in weapons, personnel and supplies while our attention is diverted by the needs of the children.

He says a very credible informer told him that that the most dangerous crime element in Mexico City is Russian Mafia. That means KGB. Few people know this, but the Soviets entered a secret pact with Mexico very early in the last century, almost certainly with the eventual aim of utilizing Mexico's strategic position in offenses against the U.S. There is little doubt in my mind that the border crisis is an endgame strategy designed to bring in the people and weapons that will kill us. And Taylor asserts that Obama is in on the plan.

The only way to defeat this border swamping strategy is for state governments to initiate independent action with assistance from American volunteers. The federal government is betraying our country and its representatives are betraying their oath to "support and defend" our Constitution and country "from all enemies foreign and domestic."

Time for governors to stand up, seal the border and begin deporting aliens on their own. We need to get aggressive here. Otherwise Obama and his fellow communists will steal our country from us while we watch. And we are likely setting ourselves up for a terrorist attack. As Dick Cheney has warned, another attack is coming which will be far deadlier than 9-11.

The interview with 27-year Border Patrol veteran Taylor was first conducted nearly three months ago in July, but Infowars separately confirmed through other sources that the process was ongoing in the aftermath of America’s first case of Ebola which occurred in Dallas last week, including Infowars correspondent Dr. Edward Group, who spoke to senior Border Patrol sources at a recent medical conference who told him that teams of officials in Hazmat suits and vans were involved in the operation.

Explaining how it was unprecedented to see Centers for Disease Control officials working with Border Patrol and Homeland Security, Taylor revealed how illegal aliens with Ebola-like symptoms were being secretly detained and taken to an unknown location.

“The agents are telling us that they’re seeing some people who are obviously sick, with shivering type illnesses, with possible dehydrating illnesses like diarrhea and vomiting,” said Taylor. “Those people are disappearing, we don’t know what they have, where they’re going, where they’re taking them – surely they’re being quarantined somewhere we just don’t know where and even the agents don’t know what the diagnosis is of these illnesses,” said Taylor, before making reference to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Taylor went on to suggest that the way the virus infected people in West Africa indicates it may have been “planted,” before warning of the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who cross the border without being apprehended. Taylor’s revelation is sure to cause consternation, especially given that CDC authorities have refused to recommend sealing the borders or blocking flights from Ebola-hit countries, with CDC spokesman Dr. Tom Frieden writing that such measures would “increase people’s distrust of government, making them less likely to co-operate to help stop the spread of Ebola.” Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/paul.j.watson.71
