Thread: Sign suggestions

Well, I'm gonna go it alone. There's a Tea Party not to far from me and in an area I'm not scared to death to go to. So, I was hoping someone could up with some ideas that voice the illegal problem, but also sticks with the Tea Party. This particular Tea Party won me over because Jerry Aguair (?) will be speaking along with Sauerberg (I think)...which was the man running against Durbin than I voted for. Both anti-illegal, pro everify, rule of law....etc. Most of the suggestions they had are based pretty much around the stimulus bill and taxes, yet I know illegal aliens are just as much of this issue as well.

One thought that has crossed my mind is with anchor babies not being held responsible for their parents actions, yet our children and unborn children will be paying taxes for something they had no choice in either.

Something with e-verify maybe. ......which, and I doubt I'm the first to wonder about this.....anyway, on the radio this morning they were talking about the union thing they are trying to push through. There were a couple of callers who specifically asked," as an American citizen and a union supporter, why should I go for this if you can't support American workers by using e-verify?"

The answer was, e-verify isn't perfect, so until revisions are made, they won't use it, so no. The thought that overwhelmed me was that they won't use it, till the illegals are made legal and then suddenly I bet there won't be a problem with e-verify. They only other option I see is going with an entirely new system canning all SS#'s, and can't see them doing that anytime soon. It's too ingrained in our system to change, and any meshing in will be prone to more errors than e-verify could hope to have.

About your situation, perhaps you might have a poster that makes the comment " ________ Americans have lost their jobs, and homes to date while last year alone 383.3 Billion dollars was taken from our tax dollars to pay for health care, education and incarceration for illegals. Illegals paid O taxes. And this year the cost of the feeding and care of illegals is escalating rapidly. What's wrong with this picture? The picture could be of American familes living in tent houses outside. About the blank, you might want to go to Fair.org and/or NumbersUSA.com ( two great groups) and read the actual numbers of Americans that have lost their jobs and/or homes. I don't know the number off hand.

And/or you might want to make a simple equation, it costs_______for the American tax payers to feed and clothe illegals. Illegals pay 0 Taxes. And/or if illegals are Amnestied, they will pay _________ in taxes while costing the American people_______________ tax dollars.

And/or you could go to the web sites mentioned and have a tea shirt printed up that states the cost of illegals on our tax dime in your state alone.

And/or another tea shirt that states that " I don't mind paying my fair share............but it is not my fair share, when my tax dollars are paying out_______________________dollars to accomodate food, housing, wefare, incarceration and health care for illegals.

Save tax dollars with Secure borders.

Stop the bailouts for illegal aliens. (Tax dollars go to educate, give health care, food stamps, housing, mortgage assistance, incarceration, etc.)

Save billions of tax dollars with secure borders and enforcement of our laws.

Americans are supporting millions of illegal aliens with their taxes to offer free health care and education and other social services to those who have broken our laws and stolen our identities.

No more tax dollars for those who illegally crossed our borders and who have taken American jobs and stolen the identities of American citizens.

Save tax dollars by securing the border and protecting communities from the crime associated with illegal border crossers and drug cartels.

Our tax dollars should benefit the United States and its citizens, not the United Nations.

Go Go , take a flag , be proud , stand tall and voice your views arm your self with facts and talk about them with any one who will listen .
I know its tough but this is the only way we can win .

Thanks, I like the flyers for where our tax dollars go for illegals. Saw something at one of the other links, illegals get more representation than citizens who pay taxes.

I cannot go to the Tea Party in Hazleton, but my husband is.

He happened to get into an argument with an immigrant (not illegal alien) at work. My husband often has a way with words ... he told the guy "Just because you're from another country doesn't mean I won't give you an American a**-kicking"

I know it's not quite what you're looking for. Just thought it might stimulate some creative thought processes.
