The scene on opening day of the now renown (previously secretive) Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly Virginia on May 31st might actually feel surreal as activists and members of the alternative media converge on the property line of the Westfields Marriott to document the event as over 130 of the worlds most predominant businessmen, financiers, and oligarchs gather behind closed doors to discuss the future of the planet amongst themselves.

In fact, the meeting will be the 60th annual meeting of the Bilderbergers and some of the most predominant alternative members in the world will be on location to try and grab their shot at exposing the elites agenda and gain explicit intel on the attendees, topics, and highlights of the meeting.

Jim Tucker, a top journalist for American Free Press will be covering the event as he has since 1975, exposing the Bilderberg global crime syndicate. Other Journalists and alternative news outlets will be on site as well, including but not limited to members of: AFP, Infowars, and The Intel Hub.

Bilderberg 2012 : An Assembly of Felons in Chantilly, Virginia

For decades, the annual Bilderberg assembly Bilderberg Conference 2000 - 1-3 June - Brussels, Belgium has gathered representatives of the world’s elite – in politics, finance, media, and academe – to confer over the state of the world in luxurious settings. This year’s Bilderberg confab is underway in Chantilly, Virginia, which means that the enigmatic gathering takes place under U.S. jurisdiction. Nominal U.S. citizens – such as the execrable Henry Kissinger, as well as several prospective Republican vice presidential nominees — who take part in the event are therefore liable to felony prosecution under the Logan Act.

Enacted during the single term of President John Adams, the Logan Act was one of several constitutionally dubious measures inspired by concerns over foreign subversion of the American political system. It is kindred to the notorious Alien and Sedition Acts, which prompted Thomas Jefferson and James Madison to compose the “Kentucky and Virginia Resolves” – documents setting forth the duty of states to “interpose” on behalf of their citizens when the federal government invades their constitutionally protected rights.

Whatever its merits, the Logan Act has never been repealed. It can – and should – be applied to self-appointed “global citizens” of American birth who participate in elitist meetings designed to undermine what remains of American independence and, more importantly, the individual liberties of Americans.

Leave it to the much-maligned RT news service to underscore the importance of this fact:

Under the Logan Act … American citizens cannot negotiate with foreign officials without the authorization of the country. According to the text of the Logan Act of 1799, “Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”
