Citizens fight back against Antifa after mob rampages through working class neighborhood.
by Jack Murphy — May 2nd, 2017
A violent Antifa mob rampaged through a Philadelphia neighborhood as May Day protests turned shockingly violent on Monday.
Residents were enjoying the spring weather and eating dinner when the sounds of shattering glass and an angry mob jolted them from their evening.
Eyewitnesses reported 30–50 Antifa members, dressed in black and equipped for destruction, rolled through the Kensington area wreaking havoc and disrupting the neighborhood around 8:00 PM.
The gang moved through several blocks smashing cars, breaking storefront windows, and destroying property.
This masked mob roaming the street is not an isolated incident, however, as Antifa and related groups have recently stepped up their activity.
No longer satisfied with merely protesting free speech, Antifa has started assaulting innocent neighborhoods. They are now terrorizing locals in the name of their political agenda.
I spoke with one concerned citizen who was outraged and leaped into action.
After hearing breaking glass and witnessing property damage, “Jacob” and his roommate chased two of the 50 Antifa suspects down the street as they called the police. Once the police were nearby, Jacob and his friend flagged down them down and led them to the arrest, ultimately identifying the suspects for law enforcement.
The disturbance was premeditated, as Jacob watched the suspects quickly change from “all black everything to wearing a red shirt” as a way to hide their identities. It’s clear the Antifa members orchestrated these events well in advance.
The two people apprehended were identified as 45-year-old Geoffrey Suchocki of Doylestown, Pa., and 28-year-old Patricia Monahan of Philadelphia. They were charged with causing and risking a catastrophe, criminal mischief, and related offenses, according to local news.
The suspects were caught wearing masks that concealed their identity and carrying weapons specifically designed for breaking glass.
This is the latest in a string of escalating violent events.
Domestic political violence is on the rise in the United States, with recent developments at Berkeley, Portland, and Philadelphia highlighting the new dangers.
Seeing that the Antifa gangs are politically motivated, one can reasonably ask, “Is this a new form of domestic terrorism?”
How would you feel if you were home relaxing and a mob of 50 thugs, dressed in black, stormed down your street shattering the peaceful night with the sound of broken glass, car alarms, and angry yelling?
Are we now at the point where random mob violence is a regular part of daily life? These protests and their accumulating violence aren’t just on University campuses anymore; it would seem that every neighborhood is at risk — is yours next to be targeted by Antifa?
Fortunately, concerned citizens are wrenching back control of the streets from these violent thugs. Average citizens are waking up to the danger Antifa presents to public safety and personal liberty.
The angry mob from Monday night are thought to be kicking off a “Summer of Rage,” which can only mean one thing — the violence only just beginning.
Democrat leaders, national news media, and prominent figures must denounce this violence and inform Americans of the potential risks.
Journalist Mike Cernovich has covered the political violence when others have not, even challenging the mass media to step it up to protect Americans.
Jacob, however, was caught completely unaware. “I wish I had known about the political violence,” he explained, “this was a big surprise.”
He continues, “this is a mixed income, racially diverse, blue-collar neighborhood. I want to find out who did this and why.”

KENSINGTON (WPVI) --
Police continue to search Tuesday night for dozens of other anarchists that were involved in the bizarre acts of vandalism.
It is now estimated they caused more than $100,000 in damages to people's cars and property in a very violent rampage. A rampage that appears intended to send a message against the renovation of deteriorated urban neighborhoods by the influx of more affluent residents.
A man and woman are behind bars, and many more sought, after police say dozens of anarchist protesters went on a vandalism spree in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.
Watch Video at link.
Protesters go on vandalism spree in Kensington; 2 arrests. Sarah Bloomquist reports during Action News at 4pm on May 2, 2017.
Residents awoke to broken windows on homes and in cars, spray-painted profanity and paint marring multiple buildings.
And there was a sign left at the scene which read, "Gentrification is Death. Revolt is life."
"There was just a lot of neighbors, everybody outside, really upset about all the damage that happened," said Meredith Grimes.
Police say Monday night a group of 30-50 people, wearing all black, wreaked havoc on several streets, including the 1500 block of North Palethorp Street.
Detectives found evidence of vandalism on North Palethorp, Jefferson, 2nd, and North Philip streets.

Property manager told police 30-50 people wearing all black vandalized multiple properties in Kensington.
8:28 AM - 2 May 2017
"We thought someone got in a car accident, because we couldn't tell by the noise what it was," said neighborhood resident Jill Mullen. "And then we heard people yelling and screaming and glass shatter. And that's how I knew they had broken glass in the building where I live."
A property manager called police shortly after 9 p.m. to report the damage.
Two people were caught running from the scene. They were arrested by highway patrol officers who had been flagged down by witnesses.
45-year-old Geoffrey Suchocki of Doylestown, Pa., and 28-year-old Patricia Monahan of Philadelphia were charged with causing and risking a catastrophe, criminal mischief, and related offenses.

Police say both arrested had masks, and his backpack contained device to shatter windows and mission statement on how to disrupt capitalism.
8:50 AM - 2 May 2017
The group is believed to be associated with the anarchist protesters, "Summer of Rage."
"The male and female were both positively identified by witnesses, who confirmed they were observed committing the acts of vandalism," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told Action News.
Police say both had masks, and that Suchocki's backpack contained a device used for shattering windows and a mission statement on how to disrupt capitalism.
"I think the people that did this should be sentenced to a lot of community service, and understand community, and get to know people and understand why vandalizing people's homes is not okay," said Ed Cummings of Kensington.
The site manager of the apartment complex damaged during the violence estimated $100,000 in property damage.
There were surveillance cameras in the area, but many were damaged or destroyed in the vandalism spree.
