Panera Bread, the bakery-cafe chain, is on a hiring binge with plans to bring on 25,000 new people nationwide this year, said Ron Shaich, company co-founder and executive chairman of the board.
Even though Panera's food is more expensive than some competitors, like Quiznos and Subway, Shaich noted same-store sales were up 9.9% in the second quarter and the company has had three quarters of near double-digit sales growth.
Panera currently lists 13 locations in Orange County on its website. Anyone interested can learn more about the jobs available on Panera's careers website.
