    Folks in the front few rows at the Kentucky Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner didn't have time to dawdle over their steak, salmon and asparagus.

    Louisville Metro Councilman Tom Owen, who was in the second row, said workers came through and collected all the silverware at the tables closest to the dais, presumably for security reasons, more than an hour before former President Clinton spoke.

    "I was almost done," said Owen. "I had still had some bread left, so I tore off little pieces and dragged it through my dessert and ate that."
