Pat Robertson: Islam only has a ‘religious veneer’ [video]

On his “700 Club” TV show Tuesday, televangelist Pat Robertson said that Islam is a political and economic system that hides behind a “religious veneer.”

“These are angry people,” Robertson said. “It’s almost like it’s demonic, that is driving them to kill and to maim and to destroy and to blow themselves up,” Robertson said.

He made the comments on the same show where he once said stretching before exercise is a good thing, but Yoga — a Hindu practice — could still get “really spooky” at times.
The Daily Caller is waiting on word from Robertson’s press shop on whether terrorists should take up yoga.
