NATO troops in northern Kosovo have fired tear gas to disperse a crowd of local Serbs resisting the dismantling of a barricade near Mitrovitsa. Late on Wednesday, the Kosovo Force moved to dismantle a concrete barricade and stretched barbed wire across the road. Tear gas was fired shortly after hundreds of local Serbs gathered at the spot and tried to remove the barbed wire.

Egyptians protest against military rule

After three days of heavy fighting in central Cairo, the protestors managed to maintain control of Tahrir Square.

Although it appeared calm, the fighting had been pushed back into the surrounding streets.

Protesters clashed with police outside the Ministry of Interior and motorbikes were being used to bring the injured back from the front line to the field hospitals.

A Mosque behind Tahrir Square, that was well known from the 25th January uprising has once again been transformed into a place to attend the wounded, whom most are being treated for tear gas related injuries.

As the day progressed and the numbers reached 100s of 1000's the fighting began to slow down whilst protesters chants echoed that of the early days of the revolution and it's pluralist nature.

The crowds kept coming and the people eagerly awaited a response from the Military Council's ruler Tantawi, which when came was met with widespread disappointment across the square.

Despite the ongoing violence the protesters have faced in the past few days, their resistance is defiant as they vow to remain in symbolic Tahrir square until the military council relinquishes power to a civilian authority.

Protests across Egypt escalated into bloody clashes between security forces. In Alexandria, clashes between protesters and security forces resulted in tens of injuries. A swelling crowd of tens of thousands fills Cairo's Tahrir Square, intensifying the pressure on Egypt's military leaders to hand over power to a civilian government despite every day violence against them.

They know not what they ask for. They are much better off under military rule , Than they will be under the brothers. They try this under the brothers and it will be lead instead of tear gas.

I agree from what I see theres no other explanation.
America is the last hope on earth to save the world from complete subjection,but hope is runnign out .[ Like the batteries in this piece of crap msntv web keyboard].
Once they get the obama relatives sunni in charge the they will go after israel and the usa.I think he' a sunni muslim,but thats just my opinion.
if these traitors are not stopped we are all in trouble. it has to be done peacefully though,hoping the sheriffs can help us take it back.
