JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

At least one person has been arrested in the murder of two brothers outside of the Golden Corral on Sunday night. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office confirms that 19-year-old Avery Wood is in custody on two counts of felony murder and two counts of armed robbery.

Police say a witness came forward with information that Wood wanted the witness to participate in a robbery of his acquaintances, brothers Matthew and Andrew Bohannon for drugs. Detectives say they interviewed Wood Tuesday morning and say he admitted to planning the robbery and seeking out people to help with the plot. Investigators say he also admitted to being present during the robbery. Detectives say surveillance video shows the victim's car driving up and meeting with the suspect vehicle and someone ultimately shot both victims.

JSO says they are currently still investigating and more arrests are pending. Police are also denying internet and social media rumors that the shooting had some correlation with the acquittal of George Zimmerman on Saturday night.
Investigators say the victims knew the suspects and met with one another to complete a drug transaction.

JSO responded to the Golden Corral on Normandy Blvd. just before 9 p.m. Sunday night to find one of the men dead. The other was taken to a hospital where he later died. The victims are 24-year-old Andrew Bohannon and 19-year-old Matthew Bohannon.
