All parents should know what their children are being taught, what they are reading, and what they are being taught that is incorrect. Diversity and multiculturalism is factored in to the books. There are two Thanksgivings in textbooks, one in November, one in April. This is in Texas, but has shown somewhere else also. Cannot show women cooking, but can show her with tools. Gender bias, sensitivity training.
