    ARE VOTERS LEGAL OR ILLEGAL?

I have spent a few hours lately trying to delve into the potential for voter fraud. I came across some factors that make be wonder just how safe the process is. It seems that just about anyone can register to vote.

If you go to this link:
    http://www.yourvotematters.org/vote/index.cfm

WHICH, by the way, I accessed off the NCLR site!

You can say you want to register or change your affiliation and be taken to a page that asks a few simple questions:
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO?

    Update my registration information

Are you a citizen of the United States?
Will you be 18 years old before election day?

Off to the side there are two buttons:
    Yes I'm Eligible
    No, I'm Not Eligible

(sorry I couldn't copy and paste the form here but it won't let me)

I didn't send it because I am not ready to use this page yet, (I'm working on getting a whole block of republicans to jump ship around September so that the fine party I thought was mine will realize that we are angry with their lack of concern for American citizens) but it claims that if I send my e-mail address and this document saying I'm a citizen and will be 18, I will get a voter registration form I can download and print out.

I can also go to any number of local offices from the drivers license office to welfare offices to register to vote. My original voter registration in the state of TX came from the drivers license office.

So, that being said, it is quite obvious to me that anyone who can get a drivers license, anyone who can get welfare, anyone who has a computer or access to one-- in other words just about anyone at all, can, in person or anomymously, obtain a voter registration card.

I know already that all that is required to actually vote is that card. If you don't have it with you when you go, you CAN use your drivers license to vote. Apparently, once the voter registration is recorded, your name and address go in a book and as long as you have that card or a license with the same address on it (and most people don't bother to change their addresses on their drivers licenses and my last one is good for TEN years!) can vote.

I would assume that if a ten year old kid went in there to vote that someone would question him but I'm not sure of that.

I also know that in this county, in order to be a poll worker, you have to speak SPANISH! I know that because I tried to volunteer.

So, you tell me, ARE VOTERS LEGAL OR ILLEGAL?

The last time I voted I didn't have to show any ID...

John, the last time I voted, the only reason I had to show my license was because I couldn't figure out where I'd put my voter registration card in my wallet. That is the whole point. If anyone and his uncle can get a voter registration card with no picture, nothing but a name and address on it, the is the voting process protected from fraud?

The issue we have been neglecting could be the one that bites us in the ass. There are plans afoot to register the "poor ill-used immigrant", though of course it is being kept quiet.

I think the fact that illegals were allowed into the Georgia legislature to watch the proceedings should tell you the elected officials' attitudes.

Glad you found this info. I was sent a card in the mail to send in signed. (I guess they got my name wrong) There is a "under penalty of purgury" statement for signing - but we know how worried illegals are about following LAWS of the US.

I'd say we are going to be having illegals at the polls in this critical election unless we get DEMANDING on our Congressmen ASAP.

So how do we protect our ballots come November? This is really important.

Screw it, I'm calling MY Congressman tomorrow. My Senators, too. BETWEEN calls to the Judiciary Committee. Thank God for unlimited long distance. A month ago I had NO IDEA how valuable that service was going to be.

I don't know alot about lawmaking, but I had to spend a few minutes trying to come up with something...

A motion to protect the spirit and intent of our Republican form of Government.

Whereas, the voting process defines the intent and direction of our Nation,

Whereas, the right to vote is conferred upon the citizens of this Republic,

Whereas, our voting privileges are increasingly being usurped through fraudulent voter registrations,

Whereas, our elected and appointed officials cannot determine the true eligibility of those already registered to vote,

Whereas, the sanctity and sovereignty of our Nation depends on the votes of its citizens,

This motion is made to hold IN ABEYANCE the results of ALL local, state, regional and national elections and referendums until such time as the Congress of the United States can determine the validity of each vote and voter participating in said elections.

Yeah, we sure do know how much respect they have for the laws. Most seem to think it applies to everyone but them.
