Question
What recourse do we have when they pass this bill? We can't let these A$$'s get away with this. I am almost in tears to see how they are destroying my country and there doesn't seem to be a dam thing I can do about it. Nothing seems to be in our control.

Re: Question
I wish I had an answer to this question. The only recourse I can think of is to vote for the opposition of anybody who votes for this bill, whenever they come up for re-election.

I know agrneydgrl. I have shed some tears too. Let's just work to keep this from occurring and then we will see what we do next. Just keep busy with emails, calls, and faxes, and know that you have millions of other people doing the very same thing- trying to stop this monster.
The reality is that this bill will not stop the problems that they have created and they will be coming back for more. They have also scared many more people into conservative spending with their "the sky is falling" alarms.
Things seem to change quickly for sure.

The failure of the 1st House vote showed the Polititians that we mean business and we will vote their a** out of office so we do have a voice.

I shed a number of tears myself. I simply can't believe what's happening to this country.
I was listening to the radio last night and there was a lady from Canada on. She didn't think it was over but admitted it would require such massive change in people, she didn't know if we could do it. Removing all money from global accounts and into neighborhood banks. Buying local from mom and pop stores, living on basics only and buying American only. Really getting involved in community only and supporting community........almost like basic survival skills no matter how it goes, except for voting. Voting big time and rocking the boat, because it will be a test to see how fixed this all is as well with the voter fraud and all. She also suggested finding a way to put tax payments in an escrow account till 100% accountability was granted......since supposidly you shouldn't get in trouble for income tax evasion if there's proof your paying but demanding representation. Finding out how to get this in front of the Supreme Court for......darn....treason doesn't sound right but something along those lines because it was internal manipulation and lost records for acts to manipulate and bring down this country financially. Fact is no matter how it goes, we are going to be facing extreemly hard times no matter what, and it will require people in positions to put their noogies on a chopping block to fight this. Whether it be a representative on down to a lawyer who could fight this.....or risk helping. Whether it helps or not, there are people watching and there are those cheering wanting and wanting for this country to fall, those expecting us to forget it all to save them because they supported us, and those who feel sorry for how we've been lied to and hung out to dry. Guess atleast from their perspective.....we have the most to loose and they don't blame us...they blame the government.
I mean it's no biggie if Ireland gets in a snit. We've seen killing and burning in the streets in France etc. Nothing. They are hoping America will prevaile as a result of the PEOPLE.....but I don't think they are quite totally aware of how split up this nation is now.......and that the America that was, is outnumbered by foreigners.....most of which don't like us very much either. Getting this country together is like getting Europe on the same page......they aren't. They might be the EU, but they aren't all happy campers.......not even in their little individual countries. They have nothing left to bind them either.....not ethnic groups, relegion, language, nothing. They have people in their countries waiting and watching for them fold as well......and a government as anxious as ours to sell them down the river.
Immigrants who are just looking for the cash cow and have no dedication to this country.....just want us to go along so they can get money......who cares about the rest? If we go.....where else is there to run?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

As far as the pork in the bill the Senate passed, one was lowering tariffs for Puerto Rican rum, and another was for a subsidy for one Oregon company making wooden arrows for children.
As one pundit I heard on TV today: So the people in foreclosure ready to lose their homes should just sit in the backyard drinking rum while watching the kids practice with bow and arrow. Sadly true.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Unlike the Senate, the House is having a hard time deciding how to screw us over SO WE NEED TO KEEP THE PRESSURE AND KEEP THEM FROM SCREWING US OVER. On Lou Dobbs they said they would not vote tomorrow unless they have the votes. They think they have 7 who might change their mind to yes. SO KEEP BLASTING THEM ...THAT NO MEANS NO!!!

We must work even harder, don't grow weary in well doing.
