Thread: Quick Obama Tax Question

Ok I don't post here often. I have a question to ask you the experts.

Obama tax hike will increase the tax of the people 250+ correct? by like DOUBLE? from 15% to 28%
Now if this happens I fear for my job.. Why? :
Higher taxes for the 250+ small business may be forced to do what it can to stay under 250K
by downsizing.
Big Co's will do the same downsize cut any corner it can to make what it used to probly lead to more outsourcing of jobs.
Look : Oil co's are downsizing because of the lower cost of oil. and they make BILLIONS!!!

Maybe I'm wrong but that's why I asked.

If I own an apartment complex and you tax me more, your rent is going up. If I own a factory and my taxes go up, I will charge the consumer of my product more. (Who paid the tax?)

Taxes or inflation, one way or another you pay. There will always be those that will struggle, and those that have money will struggle to make more money.

Spread the wealth all you want, give everyone a million dollars, then guess how much a loaf of bread will cost?

Inflation is a tax everyone pays, everyone that consumes that is.

There is no free lunch. Communism will not work unless you kill (killing could be viewed as a tax of sorts, taxing the system) some of the consumers/workers at regular intervals. After the harvest get rid of the slackers (sick and elderly) this leaves more product for those left behind and instills work ethics. (Ofcourse with this model the tax would have to be carefully monitored or the system could run low on workers. Also one would hope to have a upper position such as tax collector or accountant. This is where the intellectual liberals fool themselves into thinking, "I could do that job, I am smart, afterall I am a intellectual."They do not realize that communism eats it's own.) "Work will set you free."

Capitalism = the rich, the poor, and those in between. Now if we could just find the right size role for the government, and, or, religion.

I saw ads last night (Halloween night, on the channel that had the GhostHunters special on .. Sci Fi??) anywho .. they played the ad over and over until I was ready to hurl.

I don't remember the exact wording, but they put up a chart showing Obama's tax plan saving taxpayer's $1000, and McCain's only $152.

My husband looked at me like "WTF?"

I told him the only thing I can think of:

They're counting the Obama "tax cut" from only the $1000 stimulus he wants to hand out, but McCain's would be more like $152 per year ... indefinitely, so COULD end up being more beneficial long-term than Obama's quickie handout.

I from Delaware also saw the ads i was like WTF but he got the cash to run them every commercial break
